Buxton (hip) is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Astros, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
It's the second straight absence from the lineup for Buxton, who is considered day-to-day after an MRI revealed a right hip impingement. The center fielder appears to have avoided a serious injury, though it wouldn't be surprising if the Twins also hold him out for Wednesday's series finale in Houston since the club as a team day off Thursday.
