  • Rojas signed a one-year, $5.5 million contract with the Dodgers on Wednesday, Daniel Alvarez-Montes of ElExtraBase.com reports. Rojas has previously stated his intentions to retire from professional baseball after the 2026 campaign, and he will officially remain in Dodger blue for what will be his 13th and final MLB season. The 36-year-old slashed .262/.318/.397 with 27 RBI and 35 runs scored across 317 regular-season plate appearances in 2025 and figures to retain his role as a utility infielder for Los Angeles.

  • Rojas (hamstring) grounded out as a pinch hitter in Wednesday's NLDS Game 3 loss to the Phillies. Rojas was removed from Game 2 after aggravating a hamstring injury, but he was available off the bench for Game 3 and should be ready if called upon in Game 4. The Dodgers are going with Enrique Hernandez at third base and Alex Call in left field Thursday.

  • Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Rojas is day-to-day after exiting Monday's NLDS Game 2 win over the Phillies with hamstring tightness, Cody Snavely of DodgersBeat.com reports. Roberts noted that Rojas' hamstring has been bothering him "for the past few weeks," and he aggravated the injury in the bottom of the sixth inning when he dove into third base to get an inning-ending forceout. Rojas is not expected to be in the lineup for Game 3 on Wednesday even if he were 100 percent, but it's unclear at this point whether he will be available off the bench.

  • Rojas will start at second base and bat seventh in Sunday's game against the Giants. Rojas will occupy the keystone for the fourth time in five games and has made a case for serving as the Dodgers' primary option at the position over Tommy Edman, who has posted a meager .555 OPS since returning from the injured list Sept. 10. During that same stretch, Rojas is slashing .333/.400/.519 with three extra-base hits, three walks and two stolen bases in nine games.
