Bedrosian was reassigned to minor-league camp Thursday. Bedrosian joined the Phillies on a minor-league deal in December, but he won't make the roster to begin the season. Though he struggled to a 7.20 ERA across five innings this spring, he also managed six strikeouts as opposed to two walks in that span. Bedrosian is still likely to contribute at the major-league level at some point this season in low-leverage role.

Bedrosian signed a minor-league contract with the Phillies on Tuesday which includes an invitation to spring training. Bedrosian struggled to a 5.04 ERA in 25 innings with the Reds, Athletics and Phillies last season. His 4.35 ERA in 10.1 innings with the Phillies in September came with an 8:7 K:BB. He's still just 30 years old and owns a respectable 3.81 ERA across eight major-league seasons, however, so it's certainly possible he rebounds as a capable middle reliever next season.

Bedrosian will be the first pitcher on the mound for what's expected to be a bullpen game Thursday against the Cubs, Matt Breen of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Bedrosian has allowed two runs on three hits in 5.1 innings since joining the Phillies at the start of September. He has a bit of experience in the opener role, filling it seven times for the Angels back in 2019. He averaged just one inning per "start" that season and has averaged the same number over his 20 relief appearances this year, so don't expect him to last much longer than that this time around.

Bedrosian had his contract selected by the Phillies on Wednesday, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Bedrosian inked a minor-league deal with the Phillies in early July, and he'll join the big-league club with rosters expanding Wednesday. The right-hander has a 5.52 ERA, 1.98 WHIP and 15:10 K:BB across 14.2 innings between the Reds and A's this season, though he pitched well at Triple-A for the Phillies with a 2.25 ERA in 16 outings.

Bedrosian signed a minor-league contract with the Phillies on Wednesday, Matt Breen of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Bedrosian recently elected free agency after he was designated for assignment by the Athletics at the end of June, and he's been assigned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley after signing a minor-league deal with Philadelphia. The right-hander has made 15 relief appearances with the Reds and Athletics this year, and he's posted a 5.52 ERA and 1.98 WHIP in 14.2 innings. He could be an option to join the Phillies' bullpen at some point.
