Crawford went 2-for-3 with a run in a win over the Rangers on Sunday. Working out of the bottom of the order, Crawford provided one of four multi-hit efforts for the Mariners on the afternoon, and in the process, lifted his season batting average over .200 (.201) for the first time since Aug. 28. However, while he's shown some signs of life at the plate recently by hitting .280 (7-for-25) over his last seven games, Crawford remains mired in a power drought that's now seen him go 20 games without a home run.

Crawford went 1-for-3 with a two-run double and a walk in a win over the Padres on Wednesday. Crawford delivered the final runs of the night for the Mariners with his sixth-inning double, which brought home Luke Raley and Justin Turner. The veteran shortstop extended both a hitting and RBI streak to three games, while also getting his average back up to the Mendoza Line for the first time since Aug. 28.

Crawford went 2-for-4 with an RBI double and a walk in a win over the Cardinals on Sunday. Crawford had one of five two-hit efforts in a productive Mariners lineup, his first such tally since July 11. He hit safely for the fourth time in the last five games in the process, a modest upswing that nevertheless qualifies as progress for Crawford by the standards of what has been an exceedingly difficult season at the plate. Despite the recent uptick in production, the 29-year-old's average still sits just below the Mendoza Line at .198, and his .305 OBP and .634 OPS are both also career lows.

Crawford went 1-for-2 with two walks, a hit-by-pitch and a run in a win over the Cardinals on Friday. The busy game on the basepaths was a badly needed one for the struggling Crawford, who'd recently been bumped from the top of the order and had come into the night slashing .083/.290/.083 over the 31 plate appearances covering his first seven games back from the injured list. Crawford had run into some tough luck during that stretch, so it's conceivable Friday's performance is the start of a turnaround to some degree.

Crawford is absent from the lineup for Thursday's contest in Oakland. It's a routine day off for Crawford, who is just 2-for-24 at the plate since returning from the injured list. Leo Rivas will start at shortstop and bat ninth for the Mariners.
