The Orioles agreed to terms on a minor-league contract with Goodrum on Friday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports. Goodrum has bounced around since the end of last season, and the Orioles will be his fifth organization since the start of spring training. The utility infielder has a .103/.188/.103 slash line across 13 games in the majors this season.

Goodrum elected free agency Tuesday, Alex Stumpf of MLB.com reports. Goodrum was outrighted to Triple-A Indianapolis by the Pirates on Monday but denied the assignment in favor of free agency. The 32-year-old has also spent time with the Angels and Rays this year, but he's submitted a .291 OPS and a 30.3 percent strikeout rate in the majors.

The Pirates outrighted Goodrum to Triple-A Indianapolis on Monday. Goodrum cleared waivers after being designated for assignment. He has the option of electing free agency, but it's not clear at this point whether he will do that or accept an outright assignment.

The Pirates designated Goodrum for assignment Friday, Kevin Gorman of TribLive.com reports. Pittsburgh claimed Goodrum on Monday, but he'll return to waivers Friday after going 2-for-15 with seven strikeouts in four appearances with Triple-A Indianapolis. The Pirates are Goodrum's third stop of the season, as he started the year with Tampa Bay before spending time in the Angels system. In 33 MLB plate appearances this season, Goodrum owns a .291 OPS.

The Pirates claimed Goodrum off waivers and optioned him to Triple-A Indianapolis on Monday. Goodrum was DFA'd by the Angels after being optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake on May 16, where he has gone 5-for-25 with a 30 percent strikeout rate. To make room for Goodrum, Pittsburgh designated right-hander Ben Heller for assignment in a corresponding move.
