  • Brewers' Eric Haase: Goes yard Sunday
    By RotoWire

Haase went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer and two runs scored in Sunday's loss to the Diamondbacks. Haase did damage in the sixth inning with a two-run blast to left off of Kevin Ginkel. It was his second time with three hits in a game this season and second home run over his last three starts. He's made just three starts since the beginning of September and is up to five homers, 13 RBI and nine runs scored for the year.

  • Haase remains out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds. Haase has started just once in the Brewers' last 12 games and is the clear No. 3 catcher on the roster behind All-Star William Contreras and Gary Sanchez. Until the Brewers formally clinch a spot in the postseason and their playoff seeding is locked in, Haase is unlikely to receive steady at-bats.

  • Brewers' Eric Haase: Goes deep twice
    By RotoWire

Haase went 3-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI Sunday against the Twins. Haase picked up his sixth start with the Brewers since having his contract selected from Triple-A on June 26 and posted his first multi-homer game since 2022 when he was with the Tigers. In just 21 at-bats, Haase has a .429 average with three dingers and eight RBI. He does have a 20-homer season to his credit from back in 2021, so while it's unlikely that he'll maintain this pace, his offensive reemergence could afford the Brewers the opportunity to give William Contreras a little extra rest and help keep him fresh through the second half of the season.

  • Haase will start at catcher and bat ninth in Sunday's game against the Twins. Haase has now started in just six of the Brewers' 19 games since he was called up from Triple-A Nashville on June 26. Though his playing time is expected to remain sparse while All-Star catcher William Contreras is healthy, Haase has made the most of his limited opportunities thus far, going 6-for-17 with a home run, a walk, five RBI and two runs through his first five games with Milwaukee.

  • Brewers' Eric Haase: Gets call to majors
    By RotoWire

The Brewers selected Haase's contract from Triple-A Nashville on Wednesday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports. Haase will serve as the Brewers' backup at catcher to William Contreras while Gary Sanchez (calf) is on the 10-day injured list and could see occasional starts at designated hitter versus left-handed pitching. The 31-year-old has an .870 OPS with nine home runs in 165 plate appearances at Nashville this season.
