  • Flaherty (12-7) allowed four runs on five hits and four walks while striking out four over three innings to take the loss versus Atlanta on Saturday. The four walks were a season high for Flaherty, who fell short of the five-inning mark for the first time all year. Just 45 of his 83 pitches went for strikes in this poor performance, which came one start after his longest outing of the year, a 7.1-inning scoreless spectacle versus the Guardians last Sunday. Flaherty is now at a 3.04 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 184:33 K:BB through 151 innings between the Dodgers and Tigers this year. He would appear to have a good chance to bounce back his next time out, as he's projected to start in Miami.

  • Flaherty (10-6) took the loss Tuesday against the Orioles, allowing three runs on six hits and two walks while striking out five over six innings. Flaherty was punished by the long ball Tuesday, as he allowed a solo home run to Ryan O'Hearn in the second and a two-run blast to Ramos Urias in the fifth, which proved to be the difference in the game. The loss was Flaherty's first since June 27 and he's now pitched to a 3.49 ERA over five starts with the Dodgers. For the year, the 28-year-old owns a 3.07 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 167:26 K:BB in 135 innings. He lines up for a road start against the Diamondbacks this weekend.

  • Dodgers' Jack Flaherty: Earns 10th win
    By RotoWire

Flaherty (10-5) picked up the win over the Mariners on Wednesday, allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits and one walk over 5.2 innings while striking out five. Flaherty hit Randy Arozarena with a pitch to lead off the second inning and the latter would eventually come around to score Seattle's first run on sac fly from Dominic Canzone. The right-hander then kept the Mariners off the board over the next three frames before allowing the first two men to reach in the sixth. Flaherty fell one out shy of his second quality start as a member of the Dodgers, but he did improve his streak of pitching at least five innings to 22 starts. He's gone 3-0 in four starts since being acquired by his new club, posting a 3.22 ERA over that stretch.
