While he sits, Josh Lowe, Jose Siri and Jonny DeLuca will serve as the Rays' starting trio in the outfield.

After being acquired from the Cardinals at the trade deadline, Carlson has enjoyed the change of scenery and has a .913 OPS with three homers in 13 games with the Rays.
