Holliday went 3-for-4 with a double, two walks and a run scored in Saturday's 9-2 win over the Twins. Holliday got a rare look in the leadoff spot with Gunnar Henderson resting Saturday. It ended up leading to one of Holliday's best games of the year, as he got aboard a season-high five times. The infielder has been lacking in power with just five extra-base hits over his last 39 games. Overall, he has a .185/.248/.307 slash line with five home runs, 23 RBI, 28 runs scored, four stolen bases, four doubles and two triples over 59 contests in 2024.

Holliday is not in the lineup for Sunday's contest versus the Tigers. Holliday had started the last four games after being absent from the lineup for the three contests prior to that. With Jordan Westburg and Ramon Urias back from the injured list, Holliday could be looking at a reduced role in the final week. He's sporting just a .374 OPS this month.
