The Blue Jays claimed Raposo off waivers from the Cardinals on Thursday and optioned him to Triple-A Buffalo. He was cast off St. Louis' 40-man roster Monday to help clear space for trade additions Erick Fedde and Tommy Pham, and Raposo will now get another opportunity with the Blue Jays. He'll remain in the minors upon joining his new organization, though he will reclaim a 40-man roster spot and would likely join the big-league squad if Alejandro Kirk (elbow) or Brian Serven were to miss any time.
