He earned 57 major-league plate appearances between San Francisco and Baltimore in 2025, finishing with a .548 OPS.

After being claimed off waivers from the Giants on Monday, Johnson appeared in four games for Baltimore and went 2-for-14 with a walk, a stolen base and three runs. He'll give up his spot to Colton Cowser (concussion), who was reinstated from the 7-day injured list in a corresponding move.
