The Orioles promoted Bradfield from High-A Aberdeen to Double-A Bowie on Sunday, Steve Melewski of MASNSports.com reports. Bradfield will move up a level after batting .267 with three home runs and 59 stolen bases over 349 plate appearances in 81 games with Aberdeen. As evidenced by his stolen-base production, the 22-year-old outfielder possesses plus speed, and he'll look to continue his development as a contact hitter as he makes the jump to Bowie.

Bradfield (wrist) started in center field and went 2-for-4 with a walk, three stolen bases, two runs and an RBI on Saturday in High-A Aberdeen's 8-3 win over Brooklyn. Bradfield missed a week's worth of games after he experienced tendinitis in his left wrist coming out of his most recent start June 22. The 22-year-old outfielder is slashing .263/.342/.366 with two home runs and 37 stolen bases over 224 plate appearances with Aberdeen this season.

High-A Aberdeen reinstated Bradfield (head) from its 7-day injured list Sunday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports. Bradfield was placed on the IL on April 23 with a head injury and ended up missing just over the minimum amount of time. The 22-year-old outfielder is hitting .234 with nine stolen bases over 13 games for Aberdeen this season.

Bradfield was placed on the injured list at High-A Aberdeen on Tuesday with an apparent head injury, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports. The 22-year-old suffered the injury Saturday as he was hit in the head by a tag on a slide into home plate. It's unclear how long Bradfield is expected to be sidelined, but he'll be on the shelf for at least the next week.
