Duran went 2-for-5 with a double and a triple Monday against the Blue Jays. The 28-year-old outfielder collected a double and a triple, just his fourth and fifth extra-base hits this month. The double extended his league-leading total to 47, while his 14th triple pulled him even with Corbin Carroll for the league lead. Duran broke out with an .828 OPS in 102 contests last season, and he's built on that in 2024 with a .286 average while posting 82 total extra-base hits (including 21 homers), 75 RBI, 107 runs and 34 stolen bases through 155 games.

Duran went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two walks in Friday's extra-innings loss to Minnesota. Duran walked and stole second base in the third inning before singling and swiping another bag in the ninth. He had gone 26 straight games without a stolen base before Friday but he's now up to 34 steals in 41 attempts this season. Duran owns an .837 OPS with 79 extra-base hits in 2024, but he's struggled in September with a .519 OPS through 18 games.

Duran went 3-for-5 with a double and a run scored in Friday's 5-4 loss to the Yankees. He also was caught stealing. Duran singled ahead of Masataka Yoshida's two-run home run in the sixth that broke a scoreless tie. He later doubled in the seventh inning but was stranded there before the Yankees plated five in the bottom half of the frame. The double was Duran's league-leading 45th of the season. Duran had been struggling entering the game, going 4-for-32 (.125) over the previous seven games.

Duran returned to the leadoff spot after a one-game respite and recorded Boston's lone hit with a runner in scoring position. He's hit safely in six straight games, going 8-for-24 with a home run, two doubles, four RBI and four runs scored during that stretch.

Duran went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Blue Jays. The 27-year-old outfielder led off the game by hooking a Yariel Rodriguez fastball around Pesky's Pole down the right-field line, continuing a blistering stretch that has seen Duran slash .372/.449/.860 over his last 11 games. Tuesday's blast gave him his first career 20-20 campaign -- he's got 20 homers and 32 steals in 130 contests -- and Duran capped off his impressive performance with outfield assists in each of the first two innings, tying him with Ian Happ for the MLB lead at 11.
