  • Brewers' Jesus Made: Moving up to Double-A
    By RotoWire

The Brewers promoted Made from High-A Wisconsin to Double-A Biloxi on Sunday, Francys Romero of BeisbolFR.com reports. Made will move up to his third different affiliate of the season after slashing .343/.415/.500 with nine extra-base hits and five stolen bases over 123 plate appearances at Wisconsin following his promotion from Single-A Carolina on Aug. 5. Just 18 years old, the switch-hitting Made looks like he could be the Brewers' long-term answer at shortstop, though he may not be ready to make his MLB debut until 2027.

  • Brewers' Jesus Made: Elevated to High-A
    By RotoWire

The Brewers will promote Made from Single-A Carolina to High-A Wisconsin during the upcoming season, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. The 18-year-old Made has established himself as one of the top prospects in baseball this season and will receive his first promotion of 2025 after slashing .267/.373/.388 with four home runs and an eye-popping 40 stolen bases over 378 plate appearances in 83 games with Carolina. He'll be joined at the High-A level by his running mate on the left side of the infield at Carolina in Luis Pena, who is also getting a promotion.

  • Made is hitting .305 with a .400 OBP, three home runs, eight steals and a 21.1 percent strikeout rate in 20 games for Single-A Carolina. Made, who turns 18 on Thursday, is the second-youngest player at Single-A behind Miami's Andrew Salas, yet Made has been 42 percent better than league average while getting to power and speed in games after an aggressive assignment. He has lived up to very high preseason expectations and has been even better of late, hitting .375 with two home runs and seven strikeouts over his last seven games.

  • Brewers' Jesus Made: Moves past ankle issue
    By RotoWire

Made (ankle) started in each of Single-A Carolina's last four games, going 4-for-16 with a home run, two doubles, three walks, four runs, three RBI and one stolen base during that stretch. The 17-year-old switch-hitting infielder tweaked his ankle in his professional debut April 4, causing him to miss a few days of action before he returned to the Carolina lineup as a designated hitter Thursday. He then picked up a pair of starts at shortstop and one at third base to close out the week, so Carolina doesn't seem to have much concern about him being inhibited by the ankle at the plate, on the basepaths or in the field moving forward. The youngest prospect in the Carolina League, Made already appears to be holding his own at the Single-A level and could end up reaching High-A Wisconsin later this summer.

  • Made rolled his ankle Friday while playing for Single-A Carolina, but he may not have to go on the injured list, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. Carolina was cautious and held Made out of action over the weekend, but it's unclear if Made will be ready to return to the lineup within the next few days. Made, who turns 18 years old in May, is coming off one of the best Dominican Summer League campaigns in history and has a chance to be a fast rising superstar shortstop or third baseman.
