Both blasts came off Jordan Wicks, as Langeliers launched a two-run homer in the first inning and a solo shot in the fifth. The 26-year-old has only three hits in his last 20 at-bats, but all three have left the yard. On the season, Langeliers is slashing .220/.280/.448 with 28 homers, 74 RBI, 54 runs and four stolen bases.

Langeliers entered Sunday's loss to the White Sox in the ninth inning as a pinch hitter and hit a solo home run in his only at-bat. Langeliers had ceded catching duties to Kyle McCann to open the day, yet he was able to come through off the bench with his 26th homer of the season. The 26-year-old generated his fourth two-hit effort in the last 10 games, a stretch where he's produced a .268 average and .780 OPS while striking out at an acceptable 19.5 percent clip across 41 plate appearances. Langeliers is up to a .223 average on the season, close to a high point for him after the first month of the campaign.
