  • Henderson went 2-for-3 with a homer, two RBI, two runs and a stolen base in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Tigers. Henderson went deep Saturday, his 37th home run, which tied Marcell Ozuna for the fifth most in MLB in the process. Henderson is on pace for 40 homers this season, which would make him the fifth shortstop in history with 40 or more in a season. Henderson also had a double against the Tigers, and he now has 72 extra-base hits this season, which is the fifth most by an Orioles shortstop in a single season in franchise history.

  • Henderson went 3-for-4 with a stolen base in Sunday's 2-0 loss to the Rays. Henderson played well, but only one other Oriole (Cedric Mullins) produced any hits in the contest. This was Henderson's fourth multi-hit effort over seven games in September -- he's 12-for-28 (.429) with three home runs and seven RBI in that span. The shortstop is up to a .282/.367/.540 slash line with 36 homers, 85 RBI, 108 runs scored and 18 steals through 142 games this season. Henderson's recent success has come since he was moved back to the top of the order versus right-handed pitchers.

  • Henderson went 3-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 8-1 loss to the White Sox. Henderson led off the home half of the first inning with a 402-foot blast off Jonathan Cannon, his 35th of the year, and that would stand as the Orioles' lone run in the loss. It's the second homer in five games for Henderson, who's gone 8-for-19 in that span. The 23-year-old shortstop is now slashing .280/.367/.538 through 630 plate appearances this year with 107 runs scored, 84 RBI and 17 stolen bases.

  • Henderson went 2-for-4 with a walk, two RBI and one stolen base in Sunday's 6-1 win over the Rockies. Henderson entered Sunday in a bit of a slump, having gone just 7-for-50 (.140) over his previous 13 contests. He was able to break that with a multi-hit effort, though he's now gone nine games without an extra-base hit. The shortstop is at a .276/.363/.527 slash line with 33 home runs, 16 steals, 80 RBI, 102 runs scored, 24 doubles and six triples over 136 games this season. He doesn't appear comfortable in the heart of the order -- Henderson is batting .248 across 39 games from third and fourth in the order (combined), while he's batting .287 over 97 games when atop the lineup.
