Carl Pavano likely to throw off mound soon
Free-agent pitcher Carl Pavano said that he feels good, and he will likely throw off a mound in about a week, MLBDailyDish.com reports. Pavano suffered a ruptured spleen that kept him out for the entire 2013 season after surgery. He went 2-5 with a 6.00 ERA over 63 innings in 11 starts with the Twins in 2012.
