Jordan Danks: Released by Rangers on Monday
Jordan Danks was released by the Rangers on Monday, Baseball America reports.Danks was decent with the Triple-A affiliate of the Phillies last season, swatting 27 doubles, but the outfielder just hasn't been able to translate it into big-league success. He also failed to garner a hit in four spring games with Texas, leading them to release him. Danks has seen some success at the Triple-A level over the years, so he could latch on with an organization in need of organizational outfield depth.
