Anthony R. Vasquez signed a minor-league contract with the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday, Chris Cotillo of SB Nation reports.Vasquez spent the 2017 season in the Tigers organization, where he split time between Triple-A Toledo and Double-A Erie. Between the two he started 27 games and pitched 164.2 innings, over which he posted a collective 3.83 ERA and 1.29 WHIP. While he'll provide depth for Arizona, he hasn't appeared in the majors since 2011.

Tigers' Anthony Vasquez: Signs minor league deal with Tigers
Anthony Vasquez signed a minor-league deal with the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday, Jon Morosi of MLB Network reports.Vasquez declared free agency at the beginning of the offseason after two seasons spent in the Phillies' system and will now look for a shot at the big leagues with the Tigers. The left-hander hasn't seen the majors since 2011, but at least posted solid numbers with Triple-A Lehigh Valley and Double-A Reading. In 27 starts and 172.1 inning between the two levels, he registered a 3.08 ERA, 119 strikeouts and a 1.224 WHIP.

Phillies' Anthony Vasquez: Signs minor league deal with Phillies
The Philadelphia Phillies signed Anthony Vasquez to a minor league deal Monday, Jerry Crasnick of ESPN.com reports.Vasquez spent time with the Phillies' two-highest minor league affiliates last season, but in 20 starts at Triple-A Lehigh Valley, he tabulated an 8-8 record, 4.56 ERA, 1.396 WHIP, and 61:46 K:BB ratio in 108.2 innings. Expect the 29-year-old to serve as organizational depth for the second year in a row.
