Angels' Rob Rasmussen: Claimed by Angels
Rob Rasmussen was claimed off waivers by the Los Angeles Angels on Wednesday, Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register reports.Rasmussen is one of two left-handed relievers claimed by the Angels on Wednesday, joining Bobby LaFromboise. He pitched for the Blue Jays and Mariners last season before being DFA'd by Seattle earlier in December, posting a 9.98 ERA in 15.1 innings of work.
