Gurriel went 2-for-4 with an RBI, extending his hitting streak to 10 games in Friday's 3-0 win over the Tigers.

Gurriel has gone 16-for-39 (.410) with six extra-base hits, 13 RBI and seven runs scored during his streak. He also raised his average with men in scoring position to a league-high .450 with a run-producing single in the third inning. His spot in the middle of Houston's productive lineup grants him plenty of RBI opportunities and he hasn't disappointed, knocking in 34 runs over his last 34 games.

Guerrero (knee) was added to the GCL Blue Jays' roster Friday to begin his rehab assignment, Sam Dykstra of MiLB.com reports.

Guerrero has been out of action since early June after straining his patella tendon. He's expected to head to Triple-A Buffalo upon the completion of his rehab assignment, raising questions about a possible major-league callup before the end of the year. The 19-year-old phenom appears to be major-league ready after hitting an incredible .407/.457./667 in 53 games for Double-A New Hampshire, but with the Blue Jays sitting 15 games out of a playoff spot, the team may prefer to keep him down in order to earn an extra year of team control.

Olson (back) will start at first base and hit fifth versus the Astros on Thursday.

Olson was held out of Wednesday's tilt due to minor back tightness but will rejoin the starting lineup for the series finale in Houston. Over 93 games this year, he's hit .240 with a .785 OPS, to go along with 19 home runs and 46 RBI.

Cron went 3-for-4 with a three-run homer Wednesday against the Tigers.

The homer, Cron's 18th of the season, provided the winning runs for the Rays, turning a 2-1 deficit into a 4-2 lead. That home-run total represents a career high for the 28-year-old, who is also setting career bests in on-base percentage (.326), slugging percentage (.475), walk rate (6.2 percent), isolated power (.212) and wRC+ (122).

Dalbec has exploded for six home runs over his last eight games, giving him a Carolina League-high 21 long balls for the campaign. The 23-year-old has proven himself as a premium power source in each of his four stops in the minors, but his swing-and-miss tendencies cast doubt on his ability to find consistent success against higher-caliber pitching. He has struck out in 30.2 percent of his plate appearances this season, which actually represents a seven-point improvement from his strikeout rate at Low-A Greenville last season.

Calhoun went 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, three runs scored and a walk in Tuesday's win over the Mariners.

Calhoun's solo shot in the fifth was just his sixth of the year, but third since the start of July. The 30-year-old is still recovering from a brutal start to the season and his average (.180) and OBP (.232) are unsightly as a result, but he has been turning the page of late. He's hitting .310 over eight games in July and .273 in 66 at-bats since returning from the disabled list in mid-June.

Cron has flipped the switch since the calendar flipped to July, following a forgettable June during which he hit just .130. He's hitting .500 (10-for-20) with five doubles, a home run, five RBI, two walks and two runs over the first six games of the new month, raising his season average 17 points to .250 in the process.
