Wilmer Flores 1B | SF
Mets' Wilmer Flores: Smacks 19th double
Flores went 3-for-5 with a double and an RBI in Sunday's loss to the Braves.
Flores plated a run in the first inning on an infield hit, and although the Mets jumped out to a three-run lead, they'd end up falling in extras. The 26-year-old is slashing .272/.328/.457 with 10 homers and 36 RBI through 90 games this season. New York is slated to begin a three-game showdown with the Reds starting Monday.

Asdrubal Cabrera 1B | CIN
Phillies' Asdrubal Cabrera: Slugs 20th homer
Cabrera went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Sunday's 5-3 victory over the Marlins.
Cabrera delivered a clutch home run in the eighth inning, breaking the tie and handing his team a two-run lead. Since being dealt to the Phillies, he's gone just 6-for-31 with three-extra base hits and four RBI (eight games), although he's now homered in back-to-back contests.

Carlos Santana 1B | ARI
Phillies' Carlos Santana: Grabs three hits
Santana went 3-for-4 with a solo homer and a pair of runs in Saturday's win over the Marlins.
The first baseman hit his 17th homer of the year with a fifth-inning shot off of Jose Urena. His .221 batting average remains a negative, though it's largely the product of poor batted-ball luck in the first month of the season. He continues to drive the ball, providing solid power numbers, and he's demonstrated excellent control of the strike zone, walking 17.3 percent of the time while striking out in just 14.1 percent of his plate appearances.

Joey Votto 1B | TOR
Reds' Joey Votto: Not in Sunday's lineup
Votto is out of the lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Nationals.
Votto was hit by two pitches Saturday -- including one at the knees that appeared retaliatory for the Reds plunking Bryce Harper (knee) -- but he remained in the game, and no injury was ever officially announced. The veteran first baseman is likely just receiving a breather, with Brandon Dixon getting the start at first base Sunday for Cincinnati.

Anthony Rizzo 1B | NYY
Cubs' Anthony Rizzo: Receives breather Sunday
Rizzo is not in the lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Padres, Carrie Muskat of MLB.com reports.
Rizzo is 6-for-12 with two home runs against the Padres this series and has a .377/.467/.675 slash line over his last 20 games, but he will head to the bench for the first time since July 10. Victor Caratini will start at first base and bat seventh Sunday for the Cubs.

Anthony Rizzo 1B | NYY
Cubs' Anthony Rizzo: Goes deep again Saturday
Rizzo went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer in a win over the Padres on Saturday.
Rizzo went deep against his former team for the second time in as many days, and he now has five home runs over his last nine games. He's enjoyed leading off since the middle of July, as he's gotten his average up to a respectable .264 after a sluggish start to the season.

Anthony Rizzo 1B | NYY
Cubs' Anthony Rizzo: Collects three hits, home run against Padres
Rizzo went 3-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's win over the Padres.
While he's not a prototypical leadoff hitter, Rizzo has enjoyed his time atop the order. The 28-year-old has exclusively hit first since July 13, and in that time he's batting .375 with four home runs and 12 RBI. Rizzo may be more ideally suited for a spot in the middle of the lineup, but it's hard to see the Cubs messing with a good thing at the moment.

Asdrubal Cabrera 1B | CIN
Phillies' Asdrubal Cabrera: Heads to bench Friday
Cabrera is not in the lineup Friday against the Marlins.
Cabrera had started all five games since arriving in Philadelphia but will take a seat Friday, with Scott Kingery starting at shortstop. The Phillies are likely to continue to rotate their hitters, leaving Cabrera in a slightly less than everyday role.

Wilmer Flores 1B | SF
Mets' Wilmer Flores: Day off Friday
Flores is not in the lineup Friday against the Braves.
Flores is hitting .294 with a .904 OPS over his last 10 games. Jose Bautista will get the start at first base in his place.

Rhys Hoskins 1B | CLE
Phillies' Rhys Hoskins: Smacks solo shot
Hoskins went 2-for-3 with a walk and a solo homer in Thursday's victory over the Marlins.
The homer, Hoskins' 22nd of the year, came in the sixth inning off Pablo Lopez. The left fielder has been on a tear lately, grabbing a hit in all but one of his last 12 games. He's hit .367/.456/.980 with eight home runs over that stretch.
