Phillies' Alec Bohm: Will return to lineup for Game 3
Philadelphia Phillies manager Rob Thomson said Monday that Alec Bohm will be back in the lineup for Game 3 of the NLDS versus the Mets on Tuesday, Alex Coffey of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.Edmundo Sosa got the start at third base in Game 2, although Bohm pinch hit for him in the seventh inning and wound up with two plate appearances. Bohm is just 2-for-33 over his last nine contests dating back to the tail end of the regular season.

He'll start at third base and bat fifth Sunday against the Mets.Bohm injured his left hand in late August and was placed on the 10-day IL on Sept. 3. He made one rehab appearance on Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Saturday, when he went 2-for-4 with one double. The Phillies evidently saw enough from Bohm on Saturday to bring him back with the big club, and he'll immediately reclaim his spot in the infield rather than being eased back in as the designated hitter.
