He'll start at third base and bat fifth Sunday against the Mets.Bohm injured his left hand in late August and was placed on the 10-day IL on Sept. 3. He made one rehab appearance on Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Saturday, when he went 2-for-4 with one double. The Phillies evidently saw enough from Bohm on Saturday to bring him back with the big club, and he'll immediately reclaim his spot in the infield rather than being eased back in as the designated hitter.

Alec Bohm (hand) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Saturday, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.Bohm has been on the injured list since Sept. 6 due to a strained left hand, though he hasn't played in a game since late August. He'll now head out to the minors to play a few tune-up games, and manager Rob Thomson said that the 28-year-old could return to the Philadelphia Phillies on Monday for the start of their upcoming series in Milwaukee.

The Philadelphia Phillies placed Alec Bohm (hand) on the 10-day injured list Friday, retroactive to Sept. 3, due to a left hand strain.The 28-year-old hasn't seen the field since Aug. 29 due to the injury, and the Phillies finally opted to move him to the injured list after six straight absences.
