McNeil will sit Saturday against the Rockies, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

McNeil's off day comes against lefty Austin Gomber, but as it's his first time out of the lineup all season, there's seemingly no reason to fear that he's slipping into a platoon role. Eduardo Escobar will take over at second base.

Lux (knee) is no longer using crutches and could start running in July, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Lux tore the ACL and LCL in his right knee during a spring training contest in late February and was placed on the 60-day IL on March 30. Though the news that he could be cleared to begin running in July is a positive sign of progress, there's been no indication that the Dodgers expect Lux to return this season.

Trejo remains on the bench for Saturday's game against the Mets, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

Trejo started 10 out of 11 games from April 18 to 29, but since then, he's started just two of six contests. Both of his starts in this recent stretch have come against southpaws, with Harold Castro handling second base against righties like Saturday's starter Tylor Megill.

Wisely went 1-for-3 with a walk, two stolen bases and a run scored in Friday's 6-4 win over the Brewers.

Wisely has gotten into six games since he was added to the roster first for the Mexico Series and then as an injury replacement for Mike Yastrzemski (hamstring). His hit Friday was his first in that span, and a 1:4 BB:K is far from impressive, but he was able to notch his first two major-league steals. The utility man is batting .074 with one RBI and one run scored over 29 plate appearances while hitting near the bottom of the order when he draws into the lineup.

Gordman (back) remains on the bench for Saturday's game against Detroit, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Gorman exited Thursday's game against the Angels with lower-back tightness and didn't start Friday's series opener against the Tigers, though he did appear as a pinch hitter. That suggests he could be available in a similar capacity Saturday. The Cardinals will certainly be hoping Gorman's back issue is a minor one, as the second-year slugger has hit seven homers in 29 games this season while slashing .265/.348/.531.

Hoerner went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Friday's win over the Marlins.

Hoerner keeps rolling along for the Cubs, as he's now batting .309 and has scored 24 runs across 32 games as the team's primary leadoff hitter. The shortstop should continue to be a strong fantasy asset atop the lineup, and he's further boosted by his 11 stolen bases in 13 attempts.

India went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 5-4 loss to the White Sox.

The 26-year-old took Lance Lynn deep in the fifth inning to give Cincy a 4-3 lead that Hunter Greene couldn't maintain. India has bounced back nicely from his 2022 sophomore slump so far in 2023, slashing .280/.374/.398 through 32 games with two homers, five steals, 13 RBI and 23 runs as the Reds' everyday leadoff hitter.

Bae went 0-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Friday's 4-0 loss to the Blue Jays.

The young utility player continues to do his best Jon Berti impression, stealing his 14th base in 31 games to begin the season, with nine of them coming in the last 10 contests. Bae is also batting .333 (9-for-27) over that stretch, and while he offers little power -- he has just two homers and nine RBI on the year -- he could become more than just a one-dimensional fantasy asset if he keeps stringing together hits.

Arraez went 3-for-4 in Friday's 4-1 loss to the Cubs.

The Marlins only managed eight hits in total, all singles, so Arraez's latest barrage of knocks didn't amount to much on the scoreboard. The 26-year-old's latest hit streak now stands at eight games, and he's produced a blistering .437/.491/.544 slash line through his first 116 plate appearances with Miami -- leading the majors in both batting average and OBP.

Garcia went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's loss against the Diamondbacks.

Garcia's 344-foot shot to left gave the Nationals a 1-0 lead in the first inning. The infielder is off to a hot start this month, slashing .294/.368/.529 since May 1. The 22-year-old is currently on pace to pass his career high of seven long balls in a season, which he hit across 93 games last year.
