Giants' Matt Duffy: Collects three his and a stolen base in win
Duffy collected three hits and stole a base during Wednesday's 5-4 win over Toronto.
Hitting third in the order, Duffy ended a three-game hitless drought. The young infielder started the season hot but has cooled since then. His .261 average is below his career .285 number, but he looks to be an important part of San Francisco's offense. The stolen base was his fourth of the season, putting him on pace to pass his career mark of 12 set last season.

Cody Asche 3B | NYM
Phillies' Cody Asche: Will play in extended spring training game
Asche (oblique) will play in a full nine-inning extended spring training game Thursday, Meghan Montemurro of The News Journal reports.
Asche is returning from an oblique injury that he suffered in late March and has just recently begun baseball-related activities. After swinging a bat earlier this week, the Phillies are now giving the 25-year-old the green light to play in an extended spring training game. Pending any setbacks in his outing on Thursday, the outfielder should be closing in on a rehab assignment in the coming weeks with a possible return to the majors later this month.

Phillies' Cody Asche: Will play in an extended spring training game this week
Asche (oblique) is expected to play in an extended spring training game on Wednesday or Thursday, Jim Salisbury of CSN Philadelphia reports.
Asche has been taking batting practice of late and is making solid progress in his recovery from a strained oblique. He could begin an official rehab assignment soon, putting him on track to rejoin the Phillies sometime this month.

Jean Segura 3B | CLE
Diamondbacks' Jean Segura: Extends hitting streak versus Rockies
Segura went 3-for-5 with an RBI and was caught stealing in Tuesday's win over the Rockies.
Once again operating out of the leadoff spot, Segura extended his season-best hitting streak to eight games and boosted his batting average to .350 in the process. While fantasy owners would rather not see Segura gunned down on the basepaths, the fact that remains aggressive in that regard bodes well for his value moving forward, with a 20-20 season looking like a distinct possibility.

Jean Segura 3B | CLE
Diamondbacks' Jean Segura: Knocks fifth homer against Rockies
Segura homered, his fifth, as part of a 2-for-5 game with two runs scored and and RBI in Monday's win over Colorado.
In his 31st game of 2016, Segura tied his home run output from 146 games in 2014 and is now just one behind his home run output from 142 games in 2015. Segura hit 12 home runs in his All-Star season of 2013 and is finally starting to show the power that had people excited about him back then once again. Segura's batting line is up to .341/.369/.533, and while he isn't likely to keep hitting like a 20-homer-a-year slugger, Segura is making consistent contact (12.1 percent strikeout rate) and could parlay that into a great batting average this year. He hit .294/.329/.423 in his career year of 2013.

Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI
Rockies' Nolan Arenado: Comes a homer short of cycle
Arenado went 3-for-4 with a double, a triple and an RBI during Sunday's 2-0 win over the Giants.
Arenado opened the scoring with an RBI triple in the first, and the Colorado pitching staff was able to make that run stand up en route to a close win. His OPS sits at 1.083 through 31 games, and his batting average is all the way up to .322 after a slow start in that department.

Eugenio Suarez DH | CIN
Reds' Eugenio Suarez: Not in Sunday's lineup
Suarez is out of the lineup Sunday against the Brewers.
Suarez hasn't had a day off since April 18, so the 24-year-old was likely overdue for a maintenance day. He's been hitless in back-to-back games to bring his average down to .254, so perhaps that's just what he needs to right the ship. Jordan Pacheco will man the hot corner in his stead for the afternoon contest.

Matt Duffy 3B | TEX
Giants' Matt Duffy: Records game-winning RBI versus Rockies
Duffy went 2-for-5 with the game-winning double in a 2-1 victory over the Rockies on Saturday.
The Giants third baseman is on a nice streak at the moment, but he has been wildly inconsistent to begin the year. He is 7-for-14 (.500) in the last three games, but he was 0-for-10 in the previous three games. In the middle of April, Duffy went through a 0-for-13 stretch, but followed that up with three straight multi-hit games. Until he shows more consistency at the plate, it's hard for fantasy owners to count on him night in and night out.

Yadiel Rivera 3B | MIL
Brewers' Yadiel Rivera: In starting lineup Saturday
Rivera is in the starting lineup for Saturday's matchup with the Reds, Zach Buchanan of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Rivera will play shortstop and bat eighth in the order. He is just 1-for-11 against left-handed pitchers this season, but will look to turn that around against Brandon Finnegan on Saturday. Jonathan Villar is getting the day off at short.

Matt Duffy 3B | TEX
Giants' Matt Duffy: Has three-hit game against Rockies
Duffy went 3-for-5 with a double and a pair of runs scored in Thursday's 17-7 loss to the Rockies.
Duffy has gotten off to an inconsistent start in 2016, regularly alternating multi-hit performances with empty stat lines. For example, Thursday's three-hit game followed up an 0-for-10 cold spell. He simply isn't providing enough value at third base outside of deep and NL-only leagues. It may be wise to look at more productive options in standard leagues until he shows more consistency at the plate.
