Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI
Rockies' Nolan Arenado: Maintains MLB homer lead with No. 12
Arenado went 1-for-4 with a homer, three RBI and three runs against the Giants on Thursday.
He slugged one out in the first, moving two homers ahead of teammate Trevor Story for the MLB lead in homers with 12, only to see Story cut it back to one later in the game. Nonetheless, Arenado is in the early stages of what looks like it could be an even bigger season than last year's 42-homer breakout, as his OPS is already over 1.000 and summer at Coors Field is coming.

Jean Segura 3B | CLE
Diamondbacks' Jean Segura: In the lineup Thursday
Segura (hip) is in the lineup Thursday against the Marlins.
Segura sat out Sunday and Tuesday due to a minor hip issue, but he returned to action Wednesday night, notching a single in his only at-bat as a pinch hitter. With the injury seemingly behind him, Segura is back at his usual second base spot while serving as the leadoff hitter.

Yadiel Rivera 3B | MIL
Brewers' Yadiel Rivera: Not in Thursday's lineup
Rivera is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Reds.
Rivera is out of the lineup for the second straight day. The 24-year-old is hitting .189/.211/.270 with a terrible 36.8 percent strikeout rate through 14 games this season.

Jean Segura 3B | CLE
Diamondbacks' Jean Segura: Returns to action with pinch hitting appearance
Segura (hip) returned to action Wednesday after missing two games, singling as a pinch hitter in a loss to the Marlins.
The team said it didn't consider the injury to be serious, so it looks like Segura should return to a starting role soon. He's been a bright spot for the 12-17 Diamondbacks, posting a .339 average to go along with four home runs, 15 RBI and four steals.

Eugenio Suarez DH | CIN
Reds' Eugenio Suarez: Records three-hit game against Giants
Suarez went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBI against the Giants on Wednesday.
After nailing four homers in the first six games, the bomb was just his second blast since April 10. After mostly hitting second in April, Red manager Bryan Price moved Suarez down to the six-spot before Sunday's game. Although it's still unclear whether he will stay there, Suarez should get more RBI opportunities (but fewer at-bats) hitting sixth.

Jean Segura 3B | CLE
Diamondbacks' Jean Segura: Remains out with hip issue
Segura (hip) remains out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Marlins.
Although there was some speculation that Segura may return to the lineup Wednesday, the Diamondbacks decided to give him another day to rest his ailing hip. He said that he feels better, but he's still not 100 percent, so he decided not to risk a setback this early in the season. Phil Gosselin will take his spot at second base once again.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Rockies' DJ LeMahieu: Out of lineup Wednesday
LeMahieu is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Padres.
The switch-hitting Christhian Adames will take over at the keystone in place of LeMahieu on Wednesday after LeMahieu had started five days in a row. LeMahieu figures to rejoin the lineup for Thursday's series opener in San Francisco against Matt Cain.

Matt Duffy 3B | TEX
Giants' Matt Duffy: Not in lineup Wednesday
Duffy is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Reds.
It's only the second day off of the season for Duffy, who's hitting .241 with a pair of homers and nine RBI as the everyday third baseman. He'll be replaced Wednesday by Conor Gillaspie, who will hit sixth in the order.

Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA
Nationals' Anthony Rendon: Hits first home run against Royals
Rendon hit his first home run, a solo blast, and walked in Tuesday's loss to the Royals.
Rendon now has a five-game hitting streak as he is starting to show some life after a brutal start to the season. He is still hitting just .240/.307/.317, but he has raised his OPS by 50 points over the past five games. Rendon is off the schneid, but his power production remains a big question mark going forward. He has just six home runs in his past 105 games (411 at-bats) after hitting 21 in his rookie season in 2014 (153 games, 613 at-bats).

Jean Segura 3B | CLE
Diamondbacks' Jean Segura: Dealing with hip issue
Segura is not in the Diamondbacks' starting lineup due to a hip issue, Nick Piecoro of AZCentral Sports reports.
This makes it a bit clearer as to why Arizona decided to keep the young middle infielder on the bench Sunday and now Tuesday. That being said, the issue isn't considered serious, and Segura could return to the lineup as soon as Wednesday. Phil Gosselin will likely see an uptick in playing time while Segura treats this ailment.
