Grandal is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Dodgers.

Grandal hasn't generated multiple hits in a game since May 17 and has two hits in his last 20 at-bats. Henry Davis will bat eighth and catch for Jared Jones.

The Pirates designated Koch for assignment Tuesday, Alex Stumpf of MLB.com reports.

Koch served as the Pirates' backup catcher for a few days but is being removed from both their 26-man and 40-man rosters as Henry Davis returns. He'll likely clear waivers and remain in the organization.

The Pirates recalled Davis from Triple-A Indianapolis on Tuesday, Andrew Destin of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Manager Derek Shelton confirmed that Davis will draw the start at catcher Tuesday against the Dodgers in the 24-year-old's return to the big leagues. He should ultimately split starts behind the dish with veteran Yasmani Grandal. Davis was optioned in early May after a dreadful start to the season, but he rebounded at Indianapolis by slashing .296/.436/.642 with seven home runs in 23 contests.

Stephenson went 2-for-5 with a home run, two RBI and an additional run scored in Monday's 13-3 win over the Rockies.

The Reds busted out in a big way in Colorado, setting new season highs in hits and runs. Stephenson's teammates did most of the damage before the catcher finished the rout with a two-run homer in the ninth inning. It was his sixth home run of the season and first in 13 games.

Moreno batted second and went 1-for-4 in Monday's 4-2 win over the Giants.

Arizona manager Torey Lovullo tweaked the lineup against a left-handed starter, dropping Corbin Carroll to eighth and moving Moreno up the order. The manager told Alex Weiner of Arizona Sports that Carroll is expected to slide down the order against lefties beyond Monday's game. The move is not a recognition of Moreno's hot bat -- he's batting .235 with a .643 OPS -- and is more about Carroll's struggles.

Herrera went 2-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Monday's 7-4 loss to the Astros.

Herrera's two steals this year have come over his last eight games. The catcher has gone 8-for-31 (.258) in that span, but he has just two extra-base hits, one RBI and one run scored. For the season, he's batting .269 with a .691 OPS, three home runs, three doubles, 16 RBI and 15 runs scored over 150 plate appearances. While there hasn't been a lot of power in his bat, Herrera has hit well enough to maintain the starting job over Pedro Pages while Willson Contreras (forearm) remains out.

The Pirates activated Delay (knee) from the 60-day injured list Monday and optioned him to Triple-A Indianapolis.

Delay has completed his rehab assignment and will remain at Triple-A Indianapolis now that he's returned to full strength. He's appeared in one game this year for the Pirates, collecting one RBI and one walk in five plate appearances.

Barnhart is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Giants.

As expected, Barnhart will retreat to the bench after he filled in for a resting Gabriel Moreno in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Mets. Moreno entered the season as the Diamondbacks' clear No. 1 backstop, and Barnhart has done little to change the pecking order behind the plate by hitting just .154 over 52 at-bats.

Manager Carlos Mendoza said Monday that Alvarez (thumb) won't join the Mets for their two-game series in London with the Phillies this weekend, but the catcher could be ready to return from the 10-day injured list June 11 for the start of the club's homestand, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

On the shelf since April 20 with a fractured left thumb that eventually required surgery, Alvarez is closing in on a return after he initiated a rehab assignment with Double-A Binghamton this past weekend. He made three starts at catcher with Binghamton and went 2-for-8 with a home run and two walks, but the Mets want him to pick up more reps in the minors before he comes off the IL. Alvarez is likely to either stick around at Binghamton or shift his assignment to Triple-A Syracuse in the coming days, and if he escapes without any setbacks, he should settle back in as the Mets' primary backstop beginning next week.

Nido is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Nationals.

Nido will take a seat for the second day in a row while the Mets give Luis Torrens another turn behind the plate. Since Francisco Alvarez (thumb) landed on the injured list April 20, Nido has taken over as the Mets' primary backstop, but he hasn't offered much to get excited about for fantasy purposes. Through 31 games this season, Nido is hitting .225 with three home runs, zero stolen bases, nine runs and eight RBI.
