Yankees manager Aaron Boone told reporters that the MRI that Loaisiga underwent before Friday's game against the Rangers revealed "nothing structurally alarming," but he isn't throwing and will see a doctor next week, Greg Joyce of the New York Post reports.

Loaisiga had been experiencing renewed soreness in this elbow, and while the MRI doesn't appear to suggest there's structural damage for the right-hander, it's concerning enough that the reliever will visit with Dr. Ahmad on Monday. Loasiga has been on the injured list since near the start of April, and he has no clear timetable for a potential return.

Devenski had his contract selected by the Angels on Saturday.

Devenski will join the Angels' bullpen ahead of Saturday's game against the Brewers as a replacement for Jose Quijada, who landed on the injured list Friday with left elbow inflammation. Devenski figures to operate in a middle-relief role.

Mariners general manager Justin Hollander said Saturday that Munoz (shoulder) is still finishing up his throwing program at the team's spring training complex, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Munoz did not embark on a minor-league rehab assignment this weekend as had been the hope, but Hollander says that should happen "fairly soon." He threw two days ago without issue and has not suffered any sort of setback in his recovery from a deltoid strain. It sounds like Seattle is just practicing a little caution with the hard-throwing reliever and that he remains on track to return sometime in early-to-mid May.

Barriera (shoulder) will make his pro debut Wednesday for Single-A Dunedin, Kiley McDaniel of ESPN.com reports.

A high-upside prep lefty whom the Blue Jays selected with the 23rd overall pick in last year's draft, Barriera's pro debut was delayed this spring by a shoulder issue that the team wanted to be very cautious with. It's excellent news that the injury was indeed minor, as Barriera is still on schedule developmentally as a 19-year-old at Single-A.

Munoz (shoulder) does not appear on track to start his rehab assignment this weekend as originally planned, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Manager Scott Servais said Saturday that there are no updates on Munoz's status, but he was supposed to start throwing this week before beginning a rehab assignment with Triple-A Tacoma this weekend, and he hasn't pitched yet. Servais not having an update suggests Munoz is not ready for his rehab assignment, but the whole situation is a little hazy right now due to lack of information. Paul Sewald has allowed a run in back-to-back successful save chances and has a 3.46 ERA, 0.85 WHIP, 17 strikeouts and seven saves in 13 innings while serving as Seattle's primary closer so far this year.

Gott (0-1) took the loss against the Blue Jays on Friday, allowing an earned run on two hits and a hit batsman over one inning. He struck out one.

The veteran right-hander saw a streak of four appearances without allowing an earned run snapped when he surrendered a go-ahead single to George Springer in the sixth inning that would prove to be the difference in the game. Friday's stumble notwithstanding, Gott has been a relatively effective asset out of the bullpen in his first Mariners season, posting five holds alongside a 2.57 ERA and 1.07 WHIP across 14 innings over 13 appearances.

Fujinami allowed two earned runs on two hits, three walks and a wild pitch across one inning of relief in Friday's loss to the Reds. He struck out one.

Following a solid two-inning relief debut Wednesday against the Angels, Fujinami turned in an outing reminiscent of the ones that earned him a demotion from the starting rotation. The Japanese rookie got just 18 of his 36 pitches into the strike zone during his time on the mound and allowed runs on a pair of singles and a wild pitch. Fujinami projects to continue seeing low-leverage opportunities until he's able to put together a sustained stretch of efficient pitching.

Bristo was designated for assignment by the Rays on Saturday.

This move frees up a 40-man roster spot for reliever Javy Guerra, who has been acquired via trade from the Brewers. Bristo earned a three-inning save in his MLB debut earlier this month with Tampa Bay, but that remains the 28-year-old right-hander's only career appearance in the bigs.

Guerra was traded from the Brewers to the Rays on Saturday in exchange for a player to be named later or cash considerations.

Guerra had been designated for assignment by Milwaukee earlier this week after allowing eight earned runs on 10 hits and nine walks through 8.1 innings to begin the 2023 campaign. The 27-year-old reliever spent a portion of the 2022 season with Tampa Bay and posted a 3.38 ERA across 16 frames.

Trivino (elbow) was transferred Saturday from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day injured list.

This move clears out a 40-man roster spot for Jake Bauers, who is joining the Yankees ahead of Saturday night's game against the Rangers. Trivino recently had a setback in his recovery from a right elbow strain and there is no current timetable for his 2023 debut.
