Lange was recalled from the taxi squad prior to Saturday's game in Cleveland.

Julio Teheran landed on the injured list with a right shoulder strain, so Lange joins the bullpen in a corresponding move. It may be a short stay with the big club, as Lange could be sent to the alternate site whenever the Tigers promote Teheran's replacement in the rotation.

Paredes (side) will wait a couple of weeks before he resumes throwing, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Paredes was placed on the 10-day injured list due to right side soreness Friday, and manager Dusty Baker said Saturday that the right-hander is facing a shutdown in order to let him fully recover. As a result, Paredes should spend more than the minimum of 10 days on the injured list. A better idea of his return timetable should come into focus once Paredes resumes throwing.

Pruitt (elbow) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Saturday, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

He had surgery in September to repair a hairline fracture in his elbow and evidently won't be ready to return to game action until June at the earliest.

Rodriguez hurled 1.2 scoreless frames in a relief appearance against Toronto on Friday. He allowed no hits and two walks while striking out a pair.

Rodriguez's control was shaky in the outing -- he threw a wild pitch and hit a batter, while only 21 of his 41 pitches went for strikes -- but he navigated his way through 1.2 frames to close out the Angels' victory. Aside from the control issues, the rookie has looked great out of the bullpen so far this season, yielding only one earned run over 6.1 innings while posting an 8:5 K:BB and consistently hitting the upper 90s with his fastball.

Luetge tossed three innings out of the bullpen against Tampa Bay on Friday, allowing one run on three hits and no walks while striking out four.

The left-hander came into the contest in the fifth inning with New York already down by five runs. He gave up a seventh-inning homer to Willy Adames but otherwise quieted the Rays' offense. Luetge has yielded at least one run in each of his three appearances this season and has a 7.20 ERA over five frames. However, there is some optimism to be found in his 6:0 K:BB.

King allowed two hits and struck out four over two scoreless innings in Friday's 3-0 loss to the Padres.

King was the second-best pitcher in the game following San Diego's Joe Musgrove, who no-hit the Rangers. It was King's third appearance of the season and first that lasted more than three outs. All of his appearances have been in the middle innings, and King has allowed four runs (one earned) and six hits while striking out five over four innings.

Taylor allowed two runs on two hits and one walk while striking out one over two-thirds of an inning in Friday's 6-2 loss to Oakland.

Taylor was part of an Astros' bullpen that permitted five runs over the second half of the game. He inherited a runner upon entering in the eighth inning with one out and allowed a single then a three-run home run to Matt Olson, a 414-foot shot that landed in the second deck of right field. The left-hander was in the mix of relievers after closer Ryan Pressly, but Taylor has allowed runs in three of five appearances, pitching to a 7.36 ERA and 1.91 WHIP.

Manaea tossed six innings against the Astros on Friday, allowing one run on six hits and one walk while striking out four. He did not factor in the decision.

Manaea rebounded from a rough first start against the same Astros club, during which he yielded five earned runs and didn't get out of the fifth inning. The southpaw was much more effective the second time around, allowing only a fourth-inning run and making it through six frames. Manaea is next lined up to face Detroit at home next Friday.

Clase struck out two in a perfect ninth inning Friday to pick up his first save of the season in a 4-1 win over the Tigers.

The right-hander simply overpowered the heart of Detroit's order, tossing 11 of 14 pitches for strikes and fanning Jeimer Candelario and Nomar Mazara. Clase has a 0.00 ERA and 5:0 K:BB through his first three appearances (three innings) of 2021, and while Cleveland has deployed a committee in the ninth inning so far, Clase has done nothing to remove himself from the high-leverage mix.

Barria is part of the Angels' taxi squad on their current road trip, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Barria was among the final spring roster costs for Los Angeles, and he'd likely be the first option for a call-up should a spot in the bullpen open up. Though the right-hander isn't eligible to play in games as part of the taxi squad, he'd be almost immediately available to move to the active roster should a member of the team's relief corps require a stay on the injured list.
