Manager Chris Woodward said the Rangers are considering moving Miller to the bullpen, T.R. Sullivan of MLB.com reports.

Miller is still scheduled to start Wednesday against the Pirates, but if he continues to struggle -- the right-hander owns a 7.99 ERA, 2.03 WHIP and 13:20 K:BB through six starts (23.2 innings) this season -- it sounds like the Rangers won't hesitate to move him to a relief role. "We are going to obviously talk about everything and see what makes the most sense," Woodward said. "I can't say that right now. It's definitely an option. It's not a slight on him [or] thinking he can't start. He's got really good stuff and it plays at 94-95 [mph], out of the bullpen it might be 95-96 [mph]."

Law had his contract purchased from Triple-A Buffalo on Friday.

Law will take the roster spot of Alen Hanson, who was designated for assignment Friday. Prior to earning a promotion, Law compiled a 1.69 ERA and 0.94 WHIP with a 17:3 K:BB in 10.2 innings with the Bisons. The right-hander owns a career 3.83 ERA across parts of three big-league seasons (105.2 innings).

De Leon (elbow) will begin a minor-league rehab assignment at High-A Charlotte on Saturday, Josh Tolentino of The Athletic reports.

De Leon has been throwing in extended spring games for the past few weeks, and he continues his return from Tommy John surgery last spring. The 26-year-old will be eligible to be activated off the 60-day injured list in late May, but it's not fully clear when he's expected to be ready for his return.

Curtiss cleared waivers Friday and was outrighted to Triple-A Salt Lake.

No team was particularly interested in a 26-year-old with just 17.1 major-league innings under his belt and a 6.75 career ERA. He could be back with the Angels at some point this season, but the fact that he's no longer on the 40-man roster makes that less likely.

Brasier (1-1) was hit with a blown save and took the loss against the White Sox on Thursday, recording one out in the ninth inning while giving up three runs (two earned) in a 6-4 defeat.

Brasier was tasked with protecting a one-run lead, but an error by Rafael Devers and a single by Yonder Alonso set the stage for a walk-off three-run blast by Nicky Delmonico that gave Brasier his first loss and second blown save of the season. It was a tough outing, but he's still done good work out of the bullpen for Boston so far, recording six saves while posting a 2.57 ERA, a 0.93 WHIP and a 13:2 K:BB in his 15 appearances.

Covey will join the White Sox's starting rotation, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

Covey will enter the starting rotation in place of the injured Carlos Rodon (elbow), who was sent to the injured list Thursday. It's unclear when his first start will come, though Chicago's probable pitcher for Sunday's series finale against the Red Sox has yet to be announced, suggesting that's where Covey could slide in. Through a pair of relief appearances this season, Covey has allowed one run one two hits and two walks across 1.1 innings. He made 21 starts for the big club last season, struggling to a 5.50 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 6.9 K/9 in those appearances (109.2 innings).

Jimenez has given up three runs while striking out 15 over his last 11 appearances spanning 9.1 innings.

After serving up three runs in one inning in his second appearance of the season March 31 to get tagged with a blown save, Jimenez has asserted himself as the clear top setup option for closer Shane Greene. Along with the big strikeout totals, Jimenez has already racked up six holds, giving him an added boost in leagues that count that statistic as a category. With Greene going a perfect 12-for-12 in his save opportunities to date, Jimenez isn't a serious threat for the ninth-inning role yet. That said, Greene is a prime candidate to get moved ahead of the July 31 trade deadline, assuming the 13-15 Tigers gradually fade from the playoff picture.

Beeks fired 6.2 scoreless innings in the first game of a doubleheader against the Royals on Wednesday, allowing a hit and two walks and while also hitting a batter. He struck out six.

Beeks served as the long reliever behind opener Ryne Stanek and turned in a highly impressive performance after the latter gave up three earned runs over his sole frame. Beeks has excelled in a "bulk reliever" capacity in two straight appearances, as he'd also blanked the Royals across 4.2 innings April 23 while racking up seven strikeouts.

Trivino (thumb) returned to action Wednesday against the Red Sox, walking one while recording one out to close out the sixth inning.

He came in to get the final out of the frame, needing 10 pitches to do so while ending a big inning for Boston. It was Trivino's first action since April 17, but he should be considered healthy moving forward.

Norris allowed just a single run over five innings but did not factor into the decision in Wednesday's 7-3 loss to the Phillies. He gave up five hits and a walk while striking out four.

Norris was good for the Tigers, though his offensive mates couldn't get much going against Philadelphia starter Aaron Nola, forcing Norris to leave the game trailing 1-0. The lefty only threw 64 pitches in this one as he was lifted for a pinch hitter in the top of the sixth inning. Norris will carry a solid 3.47 ERA into his next scheduled start Tuesday against the Angels.
