Miley (2-2) tossed two scoreless innings of relief to earn the win Saturday against the Reds.

Miley hadn't pitched in a week due to oblique tightness, and he made his return in a relief role for the first time this season, working through two innings on just 12 pitches without allowing a hit or a walk. Injuries have limited the lefty to only 37 innings this year, though he's pitched well with a 3.16 ERA and 1.22 WHIP. Miley will likely stick in a relief role in the last few days of the season, then aim to get healthy for a bigger workload in 2023.

Smyly did not factor into the decision Saturday, allowing one run on four hits over three innings against Cincinnati. He struck out two.

The only damage against Smyly came on a two-out Kyle Farmer single in the top of the third to score Spencer Steer. However, the left-hander needed 62 pitches to get through three innings and was relieved by Adbert Alzolay to begin the fourth. Smyly has now allowed one run or fewer in each of his last three starts, registering 15 strikeouts to only three walks over that stretch.

Henry is scheduled to start Monday's game in Milwaukee.

He'll be making a second straight turn through the rotation to close out the season with Madison Bumgarner (rest) and Ryne Nelson (shoulder) having been shut down. Over his prior eight starts with Arizona this season, Henry compiled a 5.98 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 31:20 K:BB across 40.2 innings.

Wright (21-5) earned the win against the Mets on Saturday, allowing two runs on seven hits while striking out three and walking one over five innings.

Wright picked up his league-leading 21st win Saturday, tossing 62 of 87 pitches for strikes. He limited the damage to just two runs despite allowing eight baserunners and striking out only three Mets batters. Atlanta seems to be limiting Wright's innings lately, as he has completed six innings once since Sept. 1. The righty finishes the regular season with a 3.19 ERA and a 1.16 WHIP.

Montgomery (6-3) earned the win against the Pirates on Saturday, allowing two runs on four hits while striking out five and walking one over six innings.

Montgomery tossed 59 of 87 pitches for strikes across six frames. He allowed two runs to cross the plate thanks to a second-inning single. The veteran lefty ended up with the win, his first since Sept. 2. It comes of the heels of three straight losses. Montgomery also picked up a quality start in the game, his 14th of the season. He finishes the regular season with a 3.48 ERA to go along with a 1.09 WHIP.

Ortiz (0-2) took the loss to the Cardinals on Saturday, allowing six runs on three hits while striking out none and walking three over two-thirds of an inning.

It was an extremely rough outing for Ortiz, who allowed a two-run single from Albert Pujols and a grand slam from Corey Dickerson before being pulled. This was the fourth appearance of the year for Ortiz, who had pitched well in his prior outings. In his three previous appearances, he allowed two runs in 15.1 innings for a 1.17 ERA. It now sits at 4.50 after Saturday's clunker.

Ashby did not factor into the decision against the Marlins on Saturday, allowing two runs on three hits while striking out six and walking none over 4.1 innings.

Ashby tossed 37 of 65 pitches for strikes across 4.1 frames. While he allowed just three hits, one was a two-run shot from Peyton Burdick. Ashby's innings have been limited since August, with the young lefty lasting five innings or more just twice in six appearances since then. He has just three quality starts on the year and has recently been used in a hybrid starter/reliever role. After Saturday's outing, Ashby's ERA sits at 4.49.

Syndergaard (10-10) gave up two hits and two walks while striking out three over 5.2 scoreless innings to earn the win in an 8-2 victory over the Nationals on Saturday.

Syndergaard looked very good in his final start of the season, and his first start since returning to the rotation after a brief stint in the bullpen. He held the Nationals scoreless into the sixth inning and helped to improve the Phillies' postseason chances by notching his 10th win of the year. Syndergaard lowered his ERA to 3.94 with the performance. It remains to be seen which role he will fill for the Phillies should they be playing further into October.

Lodolo did not factor into the decision Saturday, allowing one run on two hits and five walks over five innings against the Cubs. He struck out five.

Lodolo was able to keep the Cubs at bay for the most part over five innings. The only damage came in the second inning on an RBI triple from Nelson Velazquez. The left-hander also walked three batters in the inning and his five walks in the game were a season high. Lodolo has now allowed only one run in each of his last two starts.

Freeland allowed a run on seven hits and three walks while striking out eight over 5.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Dodgers on Saturday.

Freeland got through his last start of the season by bending but not breaking. He exited with runners on the corners and two outs in the sixth inning, falling one out shy of what would have been his 14th quality start this year. He then saw the victory slip away as the Dodgers rallied to tie the game in the seventh. Freeland ends the campaign with a 4.53 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 131:53 K:BB through 174.2 innings across 31 starts. Playing his home games at Coors Field did him no favors -- Freeland had a 6.00 ERA across 87 innings at home, but it was nearly half that (3.08) in 87.2 innings on the road.
