Liberatore did not factor in the decision against Pittsburgh on Saturday, pitching 4.2 innings and allowing four runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out three.

Liberatore was hit hard throughout the outing, as five of the seven hits against him went for extra bases. Still, he would have qualified for the win with one additional out, but Pittsburgh racked up four hits and scored twice with two outs in the bottom of the fifth to send the rookie to the dugout. Liberatore's overall stat line was uninspiring -- he threw less than 60 percent of his pitches for strikes and induced a mere five swings-and-misses. It remains to be seen if he'll get another chance to start or be returned to the minors moving forward.

Williams (0-3) took the loss during Saturday's 11-3 defeat at the hands of the Rockies, allowing four runs on three hits with two strikeouts in four innings.

Williams served up two-run homers in the first and second innings to fall behind early and New York wasn't able to recover. The 30-year-old fired 32 of 52 pitches for strikes, with only two of the swinging variety. However, Williams may stick around the rotation despite the mediocre performance as New York deals with multiple injuries to starters.

Wright (4-2) earned the win over Miami on Saturday, pitching five scoreless innings and allowing two hits and three walks while striking out six.

The southpaw escaped a bases-loaded jam in the first inning, and it was relatively smooth sailing for him from there as he didn't allow multiple baserunners in any other frame. Wright was pulled after five innings due to throwing 91 pitches, but the one-run lead at the time of his departure held up, allowing him to pick up the victory. This was Wright's first win in May, though he had only one poor outing in the other three appearances. He'll carry a 2.49 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 56:16 K:BB into his next start, which lines up to come at home against the Phillies next week.

Corbin (0-7) took the loss in Saturday's 5-1 defeat at the hands of the Brewers, allowing five runs on eight hits and one walk with three strikeouts in five innings.

Corbin surrendered two runs in the first and three in the fifth to fall in line for the loss but pitched well between, retiring nine of 10 batters faced during the middle three innings. Washington has now lost all nine of the 32-year-old's starts while managing just 16 runs of support. Corbin hasn't pitched well either with a 6.60 ERA, though a 4.20 FIP points to better luck ahead. He lines up to start again midweek against Colorado.

Woodruff (5-2) earned the win during Saturday's 5-1 victory over Washington, allowing one run on five hits with six strikeouts in six innings.

Woodruff tossed a season-high 100 pitches, with 70 finding the zone, and he stayed out of trouble around a Lane Thomas solo home run in the third inning. The quality start was only the 29-year-old's second in eight turns, though his 11.1 K/9 is nearly a full strikeout better than his career 10.3 mark.

Steele pitched scoreless five innings, surrendering one hit and two walks while striking out nine in the loss to the Diamondbacks on Saturday. He did not factor into the decision.

Steele, tasked with facing the Diamondbacks for a second straight start Saturday, once again dominated the opponent. He limited them to just three baserunners while allowing a season-low one hit. After having 19 total punchouts over his first six starts, the left-hander registered 19 combined in his two starts versus Arizona. Additionally, he only surrendered one run over those two outings and now sits with a 3.82 ERA and 1.42 WHIP with 38 strikeouts over 33 innings.

Ashcraft will start Sunday's game against the Blue Jays, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Connor Overton was initially scheduled to start Sunday's series finale in Toronto, but he was scratched due to back soreness. After Ashcraft's contract was selected by the Reds on Friday, he'll make his first major-league appearance while starting on short notice. The severity of Overton's injury isn't yet clear, but it's possible that Ashcraft remains in the rotation if Overton requires a trip to the injured list. Over seven starts at Triple-A Louisville this year, Ashcraft posted a 2.48 ERA and 1.52 WHIP in 32.2 innings.

Overton is dealing with back soreness and won't make his scheduled start Sunday against Toronto, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Overton was scheduled to start in Sunday's series finale in Toronto, but Graham Ashcraft will step in to make his first major-league start. Overton has been effective early in 2022, as he's posted a 1.82 ERA and 0.89 WHIP in 24.2 innings over four starts. However, it's not yet clear when he'll be able to make his next start or whether he'll require a trip to the injured list.

Greene did not factor into the decision in Saturday's loss to the Blue Jays. He allowed one run on four hits and two walks while striking out six over six innings.

There were no signs of fatigue after Greene threw a career-high 118 pitches in his previous outing -- a 7.1-inning no-hit loss to Pittsburgh -- as the right-hander was hitting triple digits and shut down Toronto's high-powered offense. He got himself out of a jam in the sixth inning after a Mike Moustakas error extended the frame. Greene sits at 1-6 and will be battling uphill all season long on this team, but the growth he's shown lately is highly encouraging.

Ashby will start at some point during the Brewers' upcoming road trip, though the team has yet to announce which game, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Ashby has moved between the rotation and bullpen throughout the season, starting when the Brewers have a long stretch without an off day and remaining in the bullpen otherwise. The team has just started a stretch in which it will play 18 games in 17 days, with 11 of those games coming on a road trip which lasts from May 23 through June 1. Ashby will presumably make one or two starts during that period.
