Gray threw 4.1 innings and did not factor in the decision against Cleveland on Saturday, allowing two runs on six hits and two walks while striking out six.

After missing the beginning portion of the season due to back spasms, Gray was activated Saturday and was able to throw 71 pitches (45 strikes) in his first start. He looked sharp early on before yielding a single run in both the third and fourth innings. The right-hander struck out six and kept the Reds close in a game they ultimately pulled out by a run. Assuming his back issue is now a thing of the past, Gray next lines up for a road start at St. Louis on Friday.

Marquez (1-1) picked up the win in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Mets as the Rockies cruised to a 7-2 victory, allowing two runs on two hits and two walks over seven innings. He struck out six.

The right-hander gave the Colorado bullpen a break, going the distance on an efficient 87 pitches (53 strikes) for his second quality start of the season. Marquez will take a 3.57 ERA and 20:13 K:BB through 22.2 innings into his next outing Friday at home against the Phillies.

Williams (2-1) allowed one run on four hits and three walks while fanning four across five innings to get the win Saturday over the Braves.

Williams had a rough performance in his previous outing, when he allowed five runs across 3.1 innings at Pittsburgh, but he bounced back admirably here and ended just three outs away from what would've been his second quality start of the campaign. The right-hander has given up two or fewer runs in two of his first three outings of the campaign, and his upcoming start is scheduled for next week at home against the Mets.

Ynoa (0-1) gave up six runs on seven hits and a walk while fanning five across four innings to take the loss Saturday against the Cubs.

Ynoa had only allowed one run across 12 innings over his first three appearances this season, but he was unable to repeat those results against a Chicago offense that finally caught fire following an underwhelming start to the campaign. Ynoa still owns an excellent 20:3 K:BB through 16 innings in 2021 and will try to bounce back when he takes the mound next week against the Diamondbacks at home.

Lucchesi (0-1) took the loss in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader as the Mets fell 7-2 to the Rockies, giving up three runs on four hits over three innings. He struck out three.

All three runs scored in the first inning as Colorado sandwiched four hits, including two doubles, around a sac fly, but Lucchesi settled down after that and got the hook after 55 pitches (37 strikes). The southpaw has seen little work in the early going due to the Mets' erratic schedule, but he'll look to get stretched out further in his next outing Friday at home against the Nationals.

DeGrom (1-1) picked up the win in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Rockies, giving up three unearned runs on three hits and a walk over six innings while striking out 14.

The multiple delays since his last start didn't phase the right-hander and neither did pitching at altitude, as deGrom set a single-game record for the most strikeouts by a visiting pitcher over six innings or less in Coors Field. A Jeff McNeil error in the fifth inning also kept deGrom from taking a hit to his ERA, which now sits at a stunning 0.45 through three starts and 20 innings, and his 35:3 K:BB seems like a typo. He'll look to deliver another gem in his next outing Thursday on the road against the Cubs.

Kershaw (3-1) allowed no earned runs on two hits and two walks while striking out eight over seven innings in Saturday's win over the Pirates.

The lefty was dealing Saturday and helped his own cause by taking a walk in what would be the game-deciding run during a crucial at-bat. The 33-year-old threw 60 of his 98 pitches for strikes and has allowed just six earned runs in 24.2 innings of work. Kershaw is scheduled for his next start Friday against the Padres once again.

Darvish (1-1) allowed one earned run on one hit and walked two while striking out nine over seven innings of work in a loss to the Dodgers on Saturday.

The righty was phenomenal as he threw 68 of his 98 pitches for strikes. His sole mistake came on walking opposing pitcher Clayton Kershaw with the bases loaded in the fifth inning. Darvish hasn't skipped a beat since being traded to San Diego, holding a 2.55 ERA on the year. His next chance to take the rubber will be next week against the Dodgers again.

Alcantara allowed four earned runs on six hits and zero walks while striking out seven in Saturday's win over the Giants. He did not factor in the decision.

Alcantara cruised through the first six innings before surrendering all four runs in the seventh inning. Brandon Belt homered off Alcantara to start the inning and Alcantara only managed one more out before allowing three more baserunners to end his night. The 25-year-old had good command again Saturday, striking out seven without giving up a single walk. This brings his season total to 28 strikeouts and seven walks across 24.2 innings.

Kim (back) was activated from the 10-day injured list ahead of Saturday's start against the Phillies.

Kim will make his season debut against Philadelphia after he missed the start of the year due to back issues that surfaced in mid March. Manager Mike Shildt has said that Kim is at full strength heading into Saturday's start. Kim threw 86 pitches in a simulated game at the team's alternate training site Sunday and should be near a normal workload against the Phillies on Saturday.
