Kershaw (toe/knee) is expected to start Saturday's contest against the Angels, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Kershaw has missed the entirety of the 2025 season to this point while recovering from left toe and left knee surgeries, but he now appears to be all set to return to action over the weekend. The left-hander has made three rehab starts with Triple-A Oklahoma City, posting a 3.75 ERA and 0.92 WHIP with eight strikeouts over 12 innings. Kershaw was limited to just seven starts with the Dodgers during the 2024 regular season, producing a 4.50 ERA and 1.50 WHIP, both of which represented career highs for the 18-year veteran. He'll likely operate under some sort of pitch count restriction in his return versus the Angels.

Kemp (shoulder) has made two starts in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League this season, covering nine innings in total while allowing seven earned runs on seven hits and five walks while striking out five.

An eighth-round selection out of high school in the 2023 First-Year Player Draft, Kemp didn't pitch that season or last due to a right shoulder injury. Kemp received a clean bill of health prior to the start of the Complex League season, but the young righty has struggled to display much control early on. In addition to walking 12.8 percent of the batters he's faced, Kemp has hit two batters and thrown three wild pitches.

Gray's next start will be pushed back after Tuesday's game in Philadelphia was postponed due to inclement weather, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

The two teams will play a doubleheader Wednesday. Gray will take the ball in second of those contests, with Erick Fedde starting the first game.

Cortes (elbow) resumed playing catch last week, MLB.com reports.

After being placed on the injured list April 6 due to a left elbow flexor strain, Cortes received a platelet-rich plasma injection and was shut down for about a month before being cleared to start up his throwing program. The Brewers haven't yet indicated that Cortes has been cleared for mound work, so he's presumably still in the process of increasing his throwing distance off flat ground. He was moved to the 60-day IL on April 21 and won't be eligible to rejoin Milwaukee until early June.

The Dodgers are working with Sasaki to address his declined fastball velocity, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Sasaki hit triple digits with his fastball in his March 19 start in Tokyo, but he hasn't hit 99 mph in the United States and his velocity has dropped as low as 92-93 mph in recent starts. "It's not an ideal situation," pitching coach Mark Prior said. "Clearly, the fastball is not gonna carry through the zone at 93 very effectively." Prior said there are things in Sasaki's delivery that need to be fixed, and that's also a potential cause of his 14.3 percent walk rate. Sasaki is confirmed to start Thursday at home against the Athletics.

Henderson will be recalled from Triple-A Nashville to start Wednesday in Cleveland, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

With Tobias Myers back at Triple-A and Jose Quintana (shoulder) getting pushed back, there was a spot open for Henderson this week. There are a lot of moving parts in Milwaukee, with Brandon Woodruff (ankle/shoulder) and Aaron Civale (hamstring) potentially nearing returns, so this could just be a spot start for Henderson. However, he struck out nine while allowing three hits and a walk over six frames in his big-league debut April 20 at home against the Athletics, so if Henderson logs another strong start, perhaps he could stick around.

Henderson is a candidate to be called up from Triple-A Nashville to start Wednesday's game in Cleveland, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

The Brewers optioned Tobias Myers to Nashville over the weekend and are pushing Jose Quintana (shoulder) back a few days in the pitching schedule, creating a need for a spot starter Wednesday. Henderson would be on five days' rest that day and was superb in a spot start last month in his major-league debut, tossing six innings of one-run ball with nine strikeouts versus the Athletics on April 20. Since rejoining Nashville, Henderson has made three starts and has turned in a 1.69 ERA, 0.63 WHIP and 16:1 K:BB in 16 innings.

The Brewers are listing Quintana (shoulder) as their probable pitcher for Saturday's game against the Twins, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Initially, the team had planned to push Quintana back from Wednesday to Friday due to some soreness the lefty developed in his pitching shoulder after his last outing. However, it appears he'll receive an additional day of rest. Quintana will throw a bullpen session Wednesday, and assuming that goes well, he'll take the hill Saturday.

Padres manager Mike Shildt said Monday that Darvish (elbow) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A El Paso on Wednesday, Kyle Glaser of Foul Territory TV reports.

Darvish has been working his way back from right elbow inflammation, an injury that first cropped up in mid-March. The veteran hurler threw 48 pitches in a simulated game last week and should expand that pitch count Wednesday. Darvish will need at least a couple rehab starts before rejoining the Padres' rotation.
