McDonald did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing one run on three hits and a walk over seven innings against Colorado. He struck out four.

After surrendering a leadoff inside-the-park homer to Jake McCarthy, McDonald kept the Colorado offense quiet over seven innings, matching the season high he established in his first outing May 4 against San Diego. It was a much-needed rebound performance for the right-hander after he was tagged for eight runs across 2.1 innings in his previous start against Toronto. McDonald will take a 3-7 record, 5.02 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 54:21 K:BB across 66.1 innings (13 starts) into the All-Star break.

The Mets outrighted Seelinger to Triple-A Syracuse on Saturday.

Seelinger will stick around in the Mets organization after going unclaimed off waivers when he was designated for assignment Wednesday. His stay on the Mets' 40-man roster lasted just one day, with Seelinger losing his spot after yielding seven earned runs in two innings of relief in his MLB debut during Tuesday's 16-12 loss to the Royals.

Brewers manager Pat Murphy said Sunday that Hamilton (hamstring) will miss "a couple series" following the All-Star break, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

After landing on the injured list Tuesday due to a left hamstring strain, Hamilton will end up needing more than the minimum 10 days to heal up from the injury. Murphy's comments indicate that the speedy infielder will remain out for the Brewers' first six games of the second half, and it's unclear whether Hamilton will need a rehab assignment before making his return from the shelf. Joey Ortiz will likely receive the bulk of the reps at third base while Hamilton is stuck on the IL.

Cijntje is expected to be promoted to Triple-A Memphis after the All-Star break, Rob Rains of StLSportsPage.com reports.

Cijntje will make the jump to Triple-A after posting a 5.04 ERA and 1.36 WHIP with 100 strikeouts over 80.1 innings in 17 starts with Double-A Springfield so far this season. The 23-year-old is a unicorn in the sport, operating as a switch pitcher, but he has yet to find a groove in 2026.

Troy (shoulder) will undergo an MRI on Monday, Brian Murphy of MLB.com reports.

Troy was forced to miss the final contest of the team's three-game sweep of the Dodgers on Sunday while nursing a right shoulder bruise that he suffered Saturday. The 24-year-old will now undergo additional imaging to determine the severity of his injury. With the All-Star break beginning Monday, Troy could avoid missing any additional action moving forward if the MRI comes back clean.

Busch went 2-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 8-4 win over the Reds.

Busch laced his 16th and 17th doubles of the season to help lead Chicago to victory, and he hit them both against southpaw Andrew Abbott to boot. The first baseman goes into the break with five hits across his last two games, but it's mostly been an underwhelming first half following his breakout 2025. Busch has a .763 OPS, 11 home runs and 49 RBI across 95 contests so far this year. In 2025, he finished with an .866 OPS, 34 homers and 90 RBI in 155 regular-season games.

Bregman went 3-for-5 with a double, a home run, an additional run scored and four total RBI in Sunday's 8-4 win over the Reds.

Bregman goes into the All-Star break with home runs on consecutive days to give himself a little momentum after a mostly uneven first half of the season. The veteran third baseman is batting .241 with a .695 OPS, nine long balls and 41 RBI across 94 contests. During his career, Bregman's best two months by OPS are August and July, so he could be primed for continued success after the break.

Gasser (2-4) took the loss Sunday against the Pirates, allowing seven runs on eight hits and no walks in three-plus innings. He struck out three.

Gasser coughed up four runs in the second inning and couldn't make it through the fourth frame, when Pittsburgh erupted for 10 runs. The seven runs allowed were a season worst for the 27-year-old southpaw, who also turned in his shortest outing of the year. Gasser still figures to maintain a rotation spot with the Brewers until Kyle Harrison (forearm) comes off the injured list, with the former holding a 5.24 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 43:14 K:BB over 46.1 innings.

Skenes (8-8) notched the win Sunday against the Brewers, allowing two runs on three hits and one walk in 5.1 innings. He struck out seven.

The Milwaukee bats were sluggish initially, as Skenes rattled off three perfect innings to begin the afternoon, but the Brewers did get to the hurler for a pair of runs in the fourth inning. The All-Star right-hander delivered a 1.98 ERA and 0.64 WHIP over his first nine starts of 2026 but hasn't been nearly as dominant across his last 11 outings, during which he's posted a 4.94 ERA and 1.35 WHIP. Despite that rough stretch, Skenes still sports a strong 3.57 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 130:24 K:BB through 108.1 frames this year.

Walker went 1-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and two runs scored in Sunday's 4-3 loss to Atlanta.

Walker hit safely in 16 of 18 games heading into the All-Star break, going 20-for-61 (.328) with seven extra-base hits and three steals in that span. The outfielder's breakout campaign has him hitting .294 with an .886 OPS, 22 homers, 13 steals, 74 RBI, 62 runs scored and 19 doubles over 93 contests. He'll be at his first All-Star Game on Tuesday and will look to sustain his success in the back half of the campaign.
