Tatis went 2-for-6 with a three-run home run in Saturday's 10-8 win over the Rockies.

This was Tatis' first multi-hit effort in seven games, though he's homered twice over his last three contests. His second-inning blast capped a six-run frame that gave the Padres an early advantage. Tatis reached the 20-homer mark Saturday and has added a .262/.367/.434 slash line with 61 RBI, 95 runs scored and 27 stolen bases over 138 games as San Diego's main leadoff hitter.

Suarez allowed one run on two hits over one inning to earn the save in Saturday's 10-8 win over the Rockies.

Suarez picked up his first save since Aug. 26 despite giving up a solo home run to Mickey Moniak in the ninth inning. The lack of saves has been because of the Padres' 2-7 skid over the last nine games, with the only other win in that span being a blowout. This outing ended Suarez's 6.2-inning scoreless streak, but it was just the fourth homer he's allowed over 60 innings this season. The closer has matched his career high of 36 saves while maintaining a 3.00 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 63:14 K:BB.

Vasquez (4-6) allowed three runs (two earned) on eight hits and struck out three without walking a batter over six innings to earn the win over the Rockies on Saturday.

Vasquez was back in the majors for the first time in three weeks and delivered a steady outing, throwing 60 of 77 pitches for strikes. The Rockies picked up two runs in the second inning and Hunter Goodman tagged Vasquez for a solo shot in the sixth, but the right-hander received plenty of run support. He's now at a 3.91 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 62:49 K:BB through 117.1 innings over 24 appearances (23 starts) this season. The Padres' rotation has been in flux lately, with Nestor Cortes (biceps) going on the injured list, Michael King (knee) nearing a return and JP Sears sent down in late August. If Vasquez gets another turn in the rotation, it's projected to be in a rematch with the Rockies in San Diego next week.

McCann (back) went 3-for-4 with two runs scored in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Red Sox.

McCann got into his first game action since Aug. 27 and delivered a strong performance at the plate while catching all nine innings. He struggled prior to his absence due to low-back tightness, going just 7-for-41 (.171) in August. Gabriel Moreno has operated as the Diamondbacks' top catcher since returning to the lineup in late August, but McCann will stay ahead of Adrian Del Castillo on the depth chart as long as he can stay healthy. For the season, McCann has a .256/.333/.400 slash line with three home runs, nine RBI and 14 runs scored over 102 plate appearances.

Pfaadt (13-8) allowed one run on six hits and struck out seven without walking a batter over six innings to earn the win over the Red Sox on Saturday.

After allowing 10 runs over his last two starts in August, Pfaadt was impressive to begin September. He threw 65 of 96 pitches for strikes and limited the damage to an RBI single by Masataka Yoshida in the third inning. Pfaadt is up to 10 quality starts in 29 outings this season, though just three of them have come since the All-Star break. He has a 5.18 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 129:33 K:BB through 153 innings this season. The 26-year-old's next projected start is expected to be on the road in Minnesota.

Scott blew the save in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Orioles, allowing two inherited runners to score on one hit without recording an out in the ninth inning.

While Blake Treinen was ultimately charged with three runs and the loss, Scott gave up a walk-off double to the only batter he faced. After looking sharp in his first two outings back from an elbow injury that sidelined him for a month, the southpaw has now blown a save or taken a loss in three straight appearances. He's converted 20 of 29 save chances this season while posting a 4.56 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 52:12 K:BB across 49.1 innings.

Yamamoto did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Orioles, allowing one run on one hit and two walks with 10 strikeouts over 8.2 innings.

Yamamoto came within one out of recording 2025's first no-hitter before Jackson Holliday spoiled the bid with a solo homer, and the Dodgers' bullpen couldn't close things out after his exit. The 27-year-old was dominant regardless, racking up 23 whiffs on 112 pitches and logging 10 strikeouts for the second straight start. He'll take a 2.72 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 177:50 K:BB across 155.1 innings into a road matchup with the Giants next weekend.

Robertson earned a hold Saturday against the Marlins, allowing one hit in a scoreless seventh inning.

Robertson is already up to six holds through 10.2 innings this season. The veteran right-hander has offered a stabilizing presence to the Philadelphia bullpen since his arrival, registering a 2.53 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 15:5 K:BB. If anything were to happen to closer Jhoan Duran down the stretch, Robertson has given the Phillies another capable arm with closing experience.

Strahm struck out two in a clean eighth inning for a hold Saturday against the Marlins.

Strahm tied his career high with his 18th hold of the season Saturday. The left-hander has allowed a lone earned run over his last 12 outings, and he should remain a key component of the Philadelphia bullen to close out the campaign. Through 57.1 innings, Strahm owns a 2.83 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 67:18 K:BB.

Pirates manager Don Kelly said that Chandler will start Sunday's game against Milwaukee at PNC Park, Danny Demilio of PittsburghBaseballNow.com reports.

Chandler's first three major-league outings have come in bulk relief, with each lasting exactly four innings. He posted a 2.25 ERA, 0.83 WHIP and 9:1 K:BB while going 2-0 with one save in those appearances. Chandler threw 65 pitches -- his most to date as a big leaguer -- in his most recent outing Tuesday against the Dodgers, so he may not be tasked with a full starter's workload Sunday. He'll be going up against another flamethrowing rookie in Milwaukee's Jacob Misiorowski.
