Bogaerts went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, a walk, a stolen base and a second run scored in Tuesday's 10-5 extra-innings win over the Diamondbacks.

Bogaerts lifted a solo shot in the second inning to get the Padres on the board. This was his third homer since the All-Star break and his eighth long ball of the year. He's batting .271 (19-for-70) since the break, but he's supplied a modest eight RBI in that 17-game span. Overall, the shortstop has a .268/.338/.387 slash line with 39 RBI, 49 runs scored, 24 doubles and 17 steals over 112 contests this season.

Darvish allowed three runs on three hits and two walks while striking out five over four innings in a no-decision versus the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.

It wasn't a terrible start, but Darvish wasn't dialed in. He threw just 45 of 72 pitches for strikes and also unleashed two wild pitches during this outing. Aside from his seven innings of two-hit ball versus the Mets last Wednesday, Darvish has been largely unremarkable after missing the first three months of the season due to an elbow injury. He's at a 6.51 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 23:11 K:BB through 27.2 innings across six starts. Darvish is tentatively projected for a road start in San Francisco early next week.

Gorman went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a second run scored in Tuesday's 12-6 loss to the Dodgers.

Gorman's blast in the second inning tied the game at 2-2. He's hit safely in all four of his games since returning from a back injury that landed him on the injured list for a brief stay. He's up to 10 homers on the year while slashing .227/.311/.417 across 70 contests. Despite the middling power production, the infielder is trending in the right direction and has a clear path to playing time while Nolan Arenado (shoulder) is out.

Contreras went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Tuesday's 12-6 loss to the Dodgers.

Contreras picked up his first multi-hit effort since July 25 versus the Padres. He's homered twice while going 5-for-17 over five games to begin August. The first baseman is now at a .258/.343/.451 slash line with 16 homers, 64 RBI, 57 runs scored, 29 doubles and four stolen bases through 109 contests this season as one of the steadier bats in the Cardinals' lineup.

Mikolas (6-9) allowed five runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out one over three innings to take the loss Tuesday versus the Dodgers.

After allowing nine homers over five starts in July, a date with the power-hitting Dodgers was not what the doctor ordered for Mikolas. He gave up three more long balls Tuesday, though two of them were solo shots, but the right-hander was still done after 67 pitches (44 strikes). Mikolas is now at a 5.11 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 76:23 K:BB through 111 innings across 22 starts. He's already given up 21 homers this year, six shy of matching his career high from 2019. His next start is projected to be at home versus the Rockies.

Betts went 3-for-4 with a double, a walk and three runs scored in Tuesday's 12-6 win over the Cardinals.

Betts entered Tuesday 0-for-20 over his previous five games. His lack of production has been a hot topic of conversation, but manager Dave Roberts has no plans of dropping Betts in the order. He's now gone a month without a homer, batting just .186 (16-for-86) with four doubles and four RBI over that 22-game sample. Overall, the 32-year-old has a .236/.308/.361 slash line, 11 homers, 48 RBI, 66 runs scored, 16 doubles, one triple and eight stolen bases through 104 contests this season.

Hernandez went 3-for-5 with two home runs, a double and four RBI in Tuesday's 12-6 win over the Cardinals.

Hernandez hit a solo shot in the third inning and a three-run blast in the seventh. This was his third multi-hit effort over his last 11 games, a span in which he's batting .326 (14-for-43) with four homers and 10 RBI. The outfielder is up to a .256/.293/.473 slash line with 18 homers, 68 RBI, 46 runs scored and five stolen bases through 92 contests this season. He looks to have leveled off after a rough early part of July and continues to occupy a spot in the middle of the Dodgers' order.

Muncy went 4-for-5 with two home runs, four RBI and three runs scored in Tuesday's 12-6 win over the Cardinals.

Muncy missed over a month with a left knee bone bruise. He went 0-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout in his return Monday before providing a large chunk of the Dodgers' offense in a 17-hit barrage Tuesday. The third baseman has started each of the last two games but may see some occasional time off if the Dodgers want to keep switch hitting prospect Alex Freeland involved at the hot corner. With the big game, Muncy is up to 15 homers this season while adding 59 RBI, 42 runs scored, four stolen bases and a .258/.380/.481 slash line across 83 contests.

Sheehan (3-2) allowed two unearned runs on four hits and a walk while striking out five over five innings to earn the win over the Cardinals on Tuesday.

Sheehan threw 49 of 76 pitches for strikes after making a 72-pitch relief appearance in his last outing. He's back in the rotation after the trade deadline, as the Dodgers shipped out Dustin May to the Red Sox. With the Dodgers using a six-man rotation, Sheehan's spot is likely safe at least until Roki Sasaki (shoulder) returns, which isn't imminent. Sheehan is at a 3.00 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 31:11 K:BB across 30 innings through seven outings (five starts) this season. The right-hander's next start is projected to be on the road versus the Angels.

Quantrill (4-9) yielded seven runs on nine hits and three walks over 4.1 innings Tuesday, striking out two and taking a loss against Houston.

Quantrill gave up a two-run shot to Jose Altuve in the first inning, followed by a two-run triple from Jeremy Pena in the fourth. Yainer Diaz then blew the game open with a three-run shot in the fifth. Quantrill had allowed only one run over his previous 16 innings before stumbling against the Astros on Tuesday. It was the first time he yielded multiple homers in an outing since April 25, and it pushed his ERA up to 5.21 through 102 innings this season. Quantrill is lined up to take the mound in Atlanta this weekend.
