Kolek has joined the Padres' taxi squad and will be called up from Triple-A El Paso to start Tuesday's game in Miami, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

Kolek will slide into the fifth slot in the Padres rotation, although he isn't necessarily guaranteed any more starts beyond Tuesday. The right-hander has made 12 starts for San Diego in 2025, posting a 4.24 ERA and 49:22 K:BB across 68 innings.

Bart is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Tigers.

Bart will be on the bench for Monday's series opener, but he may have worked his way back into a timeshare at catcher with Henry Davis. The two backstops have now alternated turns behind the plate for each of the Pirates' last eight games, drawing four starts apiece.

Pham is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Tigers.

The Pirates haven't indicated that Pham is dealing with an injury, but his absence from the lineup is curious after he also went unused in Sunday's 7-2 loss to the White Sox. Jack Suwinski will draw another start in left field in place of Pham, who has gone 2-for-13 with a solo home run over his last three contests.

Wagaman is absent from the lineup for Monday's contest against the Padres.

Wagaman had started each of the previous two games, but he'll hit the bench for the third time in four matchups versus a right-handed starting pitcher. Liam Hicks will get the nod at first base and will bat sixth for Miami.

Taylor is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Angels.

The right-handed-hitting Taylor had started in five of the Mets' last six games while the team faced left-handed starters in all but two of those contests, but he'll be left on the bench Monday, even though the Angels are sending southpaw Tyler Anderson to the hill. Taylor should still find himself in the lineup against lefties more often than not, but his opportunities to play against right-handed pitching appear to have tailed off while Jeff McNeil has gotten more exposure to center field lately.

Mauricio is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Angels.

The switch-hitting Mauricio will head to the bench for a second straight matchup with a left-handed starter (Tyler Anderson), after the infielder was previously held out of the lineup in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Reds while southpaw Andrew Abbott toed the slab for Cincinnati. Luisangel Acuna will pick up another start and could end up settling into a loose platoon with Mauricio, who has gone 1-for-15 with six strikeouts versus lefties so far this season.

Torrens is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Angels.

After starting behind the plate in each of the Mets' first three games out of the All-Star break, Torrens will get a breather as New York opens a three-game set with the Angels. After a productive month-long stint at Triple-A Syracuse, Francisco Alvarez was recalled Monday and will spell Torrens at catcher. With Torrens producing a .505 OPS since the beginning of July, he could be at risk of losing his grip as the Mets' preferred option at catcher if Alvarez can continue his hot-hitting ways in his return to the big club.

Alonso (hand) will start at first base and bat cleanup in Monday's game against the Angels.

Alonso didn't start in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Reds after being hit on the right hand by a pitch Saturday. However, he was able to enter Sunday's contest as a defensive replacement and is back in the Mets lineup for Monday's series opener.

Benson is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Nationals.

Following Jake Fraley's return from the injured list shortly before the All-Star break, Benson appears to have faded into a fourth-outfielder role. The left-handed-hitting Benson will take a seat for the fifth straight game, with the Reds facing three lefties and two righties during that stretch.

Garcia is absent from the lineup for Monday's game versus the Reds.

The Reds are sending righty Brady Singer to the bump, but the left-handed-hitting Garcia will nonetheless begin the contest on the bench. Amed Rosario is covering second base and hitting seventh for the Nationals.
