  • Braves' Hurston Waldrep: Earns sixth win

Waldrep (6-1) got the win over the Nationals on Tuesday, allowing one run on five hits and four walks while striking out five in six innings.

Some control issues in the third inning led to a run for the Nationals, but Waldrep was otherwise excellent in what was the final start of his rookie season. Waldrep recorded his first quality start since Aug. 20, but he had just one outing in 10 appearances (nine starts) this season in which he allowed more than three runs. He finishes 2025 with a 2.88 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 55:22 K:BB in 56.1 innings and will certainly be a name to watch for Atlanta next spring as he competes for a spot in the rotation.

  • Braves' Ronald Acuna: Goes deep once again

Acuna went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's win over the Nationals.

Acuna hit a towering home run off Brad Lord in the sixth to push Atlanta ahead 2-1. It was Acuna's second straight game with a homer and his fifth over his last 12 games. Acuna's up to 20 home runs in 91 games, though that's only led to 40 runs driven in for the season.

  • Michael Harris CF | ATL

    Braves' Michael Harris: Homers twice

Harris went 2-for-3 with two solo home runs in Tuesday's win over the Nationals.

Harris posted his third consecutive multi-hit performance while crushing solo home runs in the fifth and seventh innings. That's now seven hits, four extra-base hits and six RBI over his last three games. Harris has caught fire down the stretch, hitting .350 over his last 10 games, and he is now one homer away from setting a new career high with 20.

  • Diamondbacks' Geraldo Perdomo: Walks it off

Perdomo went 2-for-5 with an RBI in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Dodgers.

The Diamondbacks were down a run entering the bottom of the ninth inning, but contributions came from the bottom of the order and eventually Perdomo produced a walk-off win. The shortstop singled in the game-winning run, and the two-hit night extended a hit streak to 12 games, during which he's slashing .409/.536/.682 with seven extra-base hits (two HR), nine walks, two steals and seven RBI. His strong finish highlights what has been a breakout season worthy of MVP consideration. Perdomo has a 6.9 fWAR (fifth in MLB) and 6.8 bWAR (third).

  • McCade Brown P | COL

Rockies' McCade Brown: Best start of season in no-decision

Brown did not factor into the decision Tuesday, allowing a run on two hits and two walks over five innings in a 4-3 loss against the Mariners. He struck out 10.

Brown delivered the best outing of his young MLB career, working five innings and notching double-digit strikeouts for the first time, though he came away without a win. The right-hander entered the game with a rough line through his first five starts -- a 9.17 ERA, 2.09 WHIP and more walks (13) than strikeouts (11). The 25-year-old is lined up to make one more start in the regular-season finale Sunday against the Giants.

  • Willy Adames SS | SF

Giants' Willy Adames: Posts steal in loss

Adames went 2-for-5 with a double, one RBI, one stolen base and one run scored in Tuesday's 9-8 loss to the Cardinals.

Adames played a big part in the Giants' third-inning rally, knocking in a run with a single, stealing second and scoring in that frame. This was the shortstop's first multi-hit effort since Sept. 13 versus the Dodgers -- he had gone just 3-for-30 with nine walks and 12 strikeouts over his previous nine games. He's now at a .226/.319/.417 slash line with 28 home runs, 84 RBI, 91 runs scored and 12 stolen bases over 156 contests in what's been a mixed bag of a first year with San Francisco for the 30-year-old.

  • Heliot Ramos LF | SF

Giants' Heliot Ramos: Reaches 20-homer mark

Ramos went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Tuesday's 9-8 loss to the Cardinals.

Ramos reached the 20-homer mark for the second year in a row when he went yard in the sixth inning. He's hit three of those long balls over his last five games, a span that also includes a trio of multi-hit efforts. For the season, the outfielder is up to a .259/.331/.401 slash line with 66 RBI, 84 runs scored, 24 doubles, one triple and six stolen bases over 153 contests as the Giants' starting left fielder.

  • Ryan Walker RP | SF

Giants' Ryan Walker: Falters against Cardinals

Walker (5-7) allowed two runs on four hits and struck out one in one inning to take the loss and a blown save Tuesday versus the Cardinals.

Walker turned a one-run lead into a one-run deficit in the ninth inning, resulting in his sixth blown save of the year. He's been shaky in September, allowing six runs over 6.2 innings while converting four of six save chances. For the season, he's at 16 saves and eight holds while adding a 4.05 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 58:17 K:BB across 60 innings.

  • Logan Webb SP | SF

Giants' Logan Webb: Picks up quality start

Webb allowed three runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out five over six innings in a no-decision versus the Cardinals on Tuesday.

Webb was a little generous with baserunners, but he was able to avoid taking a third straight loss. The right-hander has had mixed results in September, allowing 17 runs (13 earned) over 28 innings across five starts. For the season, he was able to surpass the 200-inning mark for the third straight year (201.2) while posting a 14-11 record, 3.30 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 216:46 K:BB over 33 starts.

  • Cardinals' Brendan Donovan: Four doubles in win

Donovan went 4-for-5 with four doubles, one RBI and one run scored in Tuesday's 9-8 win over the Giants.

Donovan missed Monday's game due to groin tightness, but he was able to get cleared in time to play Tuesday. He played a vital role in the Cardinals' offense in this game with the quartet of two-baggers. He's up to 31 doubles on the year, which is three shy of his career-high total from 153 games last season. Donovan has added a .287/.354/.421 slash line with 10 home runs, 49 RBI, 63 runs scored and three stolen bases over 117 contests in 2025.
