Fraley (hernia) began a rehab assignment with the rookie-level Florida Complex League on Saturday, going 0-for-3 as the designated hitter.

Fraley is expected to get a few more at-bats at the rookie level before joining Triple-A Durham on Tuesday. Manager Kevin Cash believes the outfielder is on a "really good schedule," per MLB.com. Fraley has been on the injured list with a hernia for about a month and a half, but he has a chance to return to the Rays prior to the All-Star break in mid-July.

Peterson (4-6) notched the win Saturday against the Brewers, allowing two runs on five hits and no walks in 5.2 innings. He struck out two.

Making his Cubs debut, Peterson immediately entered the rotation after bouncing around as a swingman with the Mets. The 30-year-old left-hander fell one out shy of what could've been his first quality start of the year, but it was still his longest outing so far. Peterson, who entered Saturday with a high groundball rate of 52.9 percent, could benefit from the elite defense of Nico Hoerner and Dansby Swanson in the Cubs' middle infield going forward. He'll carry a 5.86 ERA, 1.59 WHIP and 65:30 K:BB over 73.2 innings into his next scheduled outing against the Cardinals.

Harrison took a no-decision Saturday against the Cubs, allowing two runs on three hits and one walk in five innings. He struck out nine.

Besides a June 8 implosion in Las Vegas against the Athletics when he was shelled for a season-worst eight runs, Harrison has been incredibly consistent for the Brewers in 2026. The 24-year-old left-hander has now given up two runs or fewer in his 14 other starts, fanning at least six on nine occasions, as well. Harrison will carry a stellar 2.57 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 96:19 K:BB over 77 innings into his next scheduled outing in Arizona.

Lawrence secured the save Saturday against the Orioles, allowing no runs on one hit and one walk in a scoreless 10th inning.

Clayton Beeter kept Baltimore off the board with a scoreless ninth frame, and then Lawrence got the call for the 10th after Washington took the lead in the top of the inning. Lawrence, who was making his Nationals debut Saturday, has previous closing experience with the Rockies, though it's hard to envision him being trusted with consistent high-leverage work. Lawrence has a 7.76 ERA, 1.90 WHIP and 37:22 K:BB over 29 innings between the Pirates, Twins and the Nats this year.

Griffin took a no-decision Saturday against the Orioles, allowing one unearned run on three hits and two walks in seven innings. He struck out nine.

A throwing error by Nasim Nunez in the second inning kept an earned run off Griffin's ledger Saturday. After being out of the major leagues since 2023, Griffin has been a revelation for the Nationals in 2026. The 30-year-old southpaw has given up fewer than two runs in five straight starts, and he's now recorded nine strikeouts in back-to-back outings. Griffin will take an impressive 2.93 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 98:25 K:BB over 98.1 innings into his next scheduled appearance against Pittsburgh.

Rolison will work as the Cubs' opening pitcher Sunday versus Milwaukee, Bruce Levine of 670TheScore.com reports.

Rolison has one opening appearance so far this season, retiring all four batters he faced against the Giants on June 13. He's tossed fewer than two frames in each of his 10 outings so far in June, so the left-hander presumably won't work deep into Sunday's matchup. The Cubs haven't designated a bulk reliever to enter the game behind Rolison, though Bryse Wilson had recently been serving as a starter at Triple-A Lehigh Valley in the Phillies organization before the Cubs scooped him up off waivers Wednesday.

Young took a no-decision Saturday against the Nationals, allowing two runs on seven hits and two walks in five innings. He struck out eight.

Young fanned a season-high eight Saturday, and he also continued to supply the Orioles with length. The 27-year-old right-hander has now worked at least five innings in seven consecutive outings, turning in five quality starts during that period. He is far more likely to maintain his rotation spot over rookie righty Trey Gibson once Dean Kremer (quadriceps) comes off the injured list, since Young holds a 3.11 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 57:27 K:BB over 72.1 frames.

Ramos (quadriceps) is expected to be activated from the 10-day IL on Sunday, and he's likely to see more playing time in right field, Justice delos Santos of The Mercury News reports.

Ramos last saw action for San Francisco on May 15 before being placed on the IL due to a right quad strain the following day. The 26-year-old kicked off a rehab assignment June 17 and has gone 9-for-26 with one home run, three doubles and two RBI over seven games. Since Ramos has been sidelined, Bryce Eldridge has thrived as the Giants' designated hitter while Casey Schmitt has played well while starting in left field. With that in mind, Schmitt is set to retain his role in that position, which will likely push Ramos to right field and move Jung Hoo Lee from right to center. That setup should remain consistent until Harrison Bader (foot), who doesn't have a clear timetable for a return, per delos Santos, is able to get back on the field.

Teng was optioned to Triple-A Sugar Land on Saturday, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Teng made the start Saturday against Detroit and gave up five runs (four earned) on eight hits and a walk over 3.2 innings. That continued a rough June for the right-hander, who has given up at least four earned runs in four of his five starts this month. Teng's demotion to the minors makes room on the 26-man roster for reliever Miguel Ullola, who was recalled from Sugar Land on Saturday. However, Teng's spot in the rotation could soon be taken by Cristian Javier (shoulder), who tossed 75 pitches in his most recent rehab start Sunday and appears to be closing in on returning from the IL.

Wilson (shoulder) isn't starting against the Angels on Saturday, but he's available off the bench and could be back in the starting lineup Sunday, Michael Huntley of the Orange County Register reports.

Wilson is beginning on the bench for the third straight game while nursing a left shoulder issue. However, manager Mark Kotsay indicated before the contest that the 24-year-old infielder won't need an IL stint and could come off the bench Saturday. Alika Williams is starting at shortstop for a third consecutive contest, but it sounds like that run could end with Wilson's potential return Sunday.
