Woods Richardson (0-5) took the loss Friday against the Blue Jays, allowing six runs (four earned) on nine hits and one walk with two strikeouts across 4.2 innings.

Woods Richardson has now been hammered for 25 runs (22 earned) across 23 innings over his last five starts. Armed with mediocre stuff and a second percentile strikeout rate, Woods Richardson doesn't have the arsenal to consistently miss big-league bats. It's fair to wonder how long Minnesota will keep trotting out the right-hander for starts. He leads the majors with five losses and owns a 6.49 ERA, 1.76 WHIP and 17:14 K:BB across 34.2 innings.

Naylor went 2-for-5 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 8-5 win over the Athletics.

Naylor, who entered Friday's game on a 1-for-23 slide over the previous eight contests, snapped an 0-for-12 stretch with a second-inning single, and he also doubled home a run in the seventh. It was just the second multi-hit effort of the season for the catcher. Naylor is slashing .137/.192/.397 with three extra-base hits, four RBI and three runs scored over 78 plate appearances.

Mauricio went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Friday's win over the Angels.

With the score tied 3-3 in the seventh inning, Mauricio jumped on a Jose Fermin fastball up in the zone and crushed it 421 feet to right-center field for the game-winning hit. It was the 25-year-old's first homer in nine big-league games this season, and since Francisco Lindor (calf) was sidelined in late April, Mauricio has started seven of eight games while going 5-for-25 with an 0:8 BB:K. He's still got intriguing upside and was slashing .293/.349/.638 for Triple-A Syracuse in 15 games with six home runs and five steals prior to his most recent promotion, but Mauricio will need to figure out how to make more consistent contact to fully tap into his potential.

Moreno isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Cubs.

Moreno went 0-for-5 at the plate in his first game back from the injured list Friday, and he'll get a day off Saturday as the D-backs look to ease him back into regular playing time. James McCann will catch and bat eighth.

Pinango went 3-for-4 with two RBI in Friday's 7-3 win over the Twins.

The rookie outfielder made his fourth start since being called up last week and is now 5-for-10 at the plate with three RBI and one walk. He's still searching for his first extra-base hit but should continue to see regular playing time against right-handed pitching while Addison Barger (ankle) and Nathan Lukes (hamstring) remain on the injured list.

Harris (quadriceps) slugged a two-run homer in his only plate appearance during Friday's win over the Rockies.

The 25-year-old began the game on the bench, but Harris pinch hit for Jorge Mateo in the ninth inning and clubbed a Juan Mejia sweeper over the right-field fence to break a 6-6 tie. It was Harris' seventh long ball of the season, and Harris having been used as a pinch hitter the last two games is a good sign he might avoid an IL stint and return to defensive duties fairly soon.

Atlanta selected Carrasco's contract from Triple-A Gwinnett on Saturday.

Carrasco elected free agency after clearing waivers Friday, but he seems to have re-signed with Atlanta and will now join the big-league bullpen, replacing Anthony Molina. Carrasco pitched a shutout inning during his lone big-league appearance this year and owns a 1.71 ERA through 21 frames in Triple-A.

Sosa went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in Friday's 7-3 win over the Twins.

It was Sosa's first multi-hit game since he joined the Blue Jays via trade from the White Sox on April 13. Across 34 trips to the plate with Toronto, Sosa has a .281/.273/.375 slash line with three doubles, four RBI, four runs scored and a 0:6 BB:K. He's serving as the team's utility infielder.

Acuna went 2-for-4 with a walk and a stolen base in Friday's win over the Rockies.

The star outfielder produced his third multi-hit performance in the last five games as he continues to tease a breakout. Acuna hasn't gone on a prolonged hot streak yet in 2026, slashing .248/.360/.376 with two homers, nine RBI and 16 runs in 33 games, but seven steals in 11 attempts is at least a strong sign his knees are feeling 100 percent healthy.

Okamoto went 2-for-4 with two home runs, three RBI, one walk and three runs scored in Friday's 7-3 win over the Twins.

It was Okamoto's first career multi-homer game, as he took Simeon Woods Richardson deep for a solo shot in the fourth inning and a two-run blast in the fifth. Okamoto now has seven long balls on the season to go with a .228/.313/.430 slash line, 18 RBI, 15 runs scored and a 14:38 BB:K across 128 plate appearances. He's striking out close to 30 percent of the time but has promising 43.4 percent flyball and 42.1 percent hard-hit rates. Okamoto is in the 90th percentile with a 92.8 mph average exit velocity.
