Biyombo isn't listedon the injury report for Friday's game against the Heat. During a timeout in the first quarter of Wednesday's 128-120 win over the Trail Blazers, Biyombo endured a fainting spell, but he was able to get up under his own power. After his departure, the Trail Blazers' team physicians cleared Biyombo of any medical issues, but the Thunder still elected to rule the veteran center out for the game. Fortunately for Biyombo, he's feeling fine a day later and will be available as frontcourt depth Friday versus Miami.

Biyombo collapsed while standing during a timeout in Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports. He was able to get up and walk to the locker room unassisted. Biyombo appeared to have fainted during a timeout, falling backward into the Oklahoma City bench. However, he was able to get up on his own and walked back to the locker room. Per Nick Gallo of the Thunder's official site, Biyombo was cleared of any serious medical issues and will undergo further evaluation Thursday. He didn't log any minutes before the incident in question.

Biyombo is cleared to make his Thunder debut after being claimed off waivers following the All-Star break. Before being waived by Memphis in January, Biyombo made 30 appearances and averaged 5.2 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 23.9 minutes per game. The veteran may usurp Jaylin Williams as the top backup center behind Chet Holmgren.

Assuming Biyombo is available when the Thunder open their post-All-Star-break schedule Feb. 22 against the Clippers, Biyombo could unseat Jaylin Williams for the top backup role behind starting center Chet Holmgren. Biyombo finalized a one-year contract with the Thunder on Saturday, but he has yet to join the organization and will have to wait to make his team debut. If Biyombo is able to get in a practice with the club Monday, he could be available Tuesday in Orlando in the Thunder's final game before the All-Star break. Once he gets acclimated to his new team, Biyombo could challenge Jaylin Williams and Kenrich Williams for the top backup role behind starting center Chet Holmgren.
