O'Neale came off the bench during the Suns' loss to the Lakers on Sunday, but he is back in the starting lineup Thursday due to the absence of Grayson Allen (knee). O'Neale has started in 21 of 26 regular-season games and is averaging 10.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2.9 threes and 1.3 steals over 29.5 minutes per game.

O'Neale will come off the bench for Sunday's game versus the Lakers. Devin Booker (groin) is back, so O'Neale will return to the second unit. As a reserve this season, O'Neale has posted averages of 10.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 3.0 triples and 1.3 steals per game in 28.6 minutes a night.

Devin Booker (groin) left early and Grayson Allen (illness) was out Monday, but O'Neale stepped up with a season-high 11 assists. The veteran swingman remains worthy of roster consideration in all nine-category formats, having averaged 11.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.2 steals and 3.1 three-pointers per contest in 22 games this season.

The 32-year-old forward has been a strong presence from long distance of late. O'Neale has drained at least three three-pointers in six straight games, averaging 11.0 points, 4.8 boards, 3.2 threes, 1.7 assists and 1.2 steals in 31.7 minutes over that stretch while shooting 41.3 percent (19-for-46) from beyond the arc.
