• Kings' Matthew Dellavedova: Undergoes finger surgery

  Dellavedova underwent surgery to repair the fractured index finger on his right hand Wednesday, and he's currently without a timetable to return, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports. Dellavedova is expected to make a full recovery, but he's assuredly done for the rest of the regular season and will likely miss a chunk of the postseason. However, he wasn't a part of the Kings' regular rotation, so his absence from the active roster won't impact fantasy hoops.

  Dellavedova has been diagnosed with a fractured right index finger, and there's no timetable for his return, Sean Cunningham of Fox 40 Sacramento reports. Dellavedova has already been ruled out for Friday's matchup against the Trail Blazers, but now, it appears like the veteran point guard will likely miss the final six regular-season games and likely some playoff action, as well. While he's sidelined, Davion Mitchell could see a few extra minutes as the top backup behind De'Aaron Fox.

  Dellavedova will not play in Friday's game against the Trail Blazers with finger soreness, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports. Dellavedova wiggled his way into the rotation in late March, appearing in five of the team's last seven games but has only seen more than six minutes once in that stretch. While he's out, Davion Mitchell could see a couple more minutes. Dellavedova's next chance to play will come Sunday against the Spurs.

  Dellavedova totaled no counting stats in one minute during Tuesday's 120-109 loss to Phoenix. Dellavedova featured in the rotation for the first time in more than a week, although you could be forgiven for missing it given he managed just one minute. On most nights, there is simply no role for Dellavedova other than providing veteran leadership off the bench. Managers can ignore him in all formats.

Dellavedova missed Wednesday's game with a non-COVID illness but will be available for Friday's tilt. Even so, Dellavedova has been in and out of the rotation lately and should not be in fantasy consideration.
