Portis is in the Bucks' starting lineup against the Timberwolves on Sunday. Portis has tallied 20-point double-doubles in two of his last three games, and his strong play has earned him a spot in the Bucks' starting lineup for Sunday's contest. It's his third start of the season and first since Nov. 22 against the Pistons, when he posted 18 points, seven rebounds and two assists over 25 minutes.

Portis logged 24 points (9-16 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 12 rebounds, two steals and one block over 39 minutes during the Bucks' 111-102 loss to the Raptors on Thursday. Portis gave the Bucks the scoring punch off the bench they needed to stay competitive during Thursday's loss. He finished as the team's leading scorer and rebounder en route to his second double-double of the season. He started the second half ahead of Jericho Sims, so it's possible Portis enters the starting lineup against the Timberwolves on Sunday. Either way, Portis should continue to see increased usage until Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) returns to game action.

Portis produced 27 points (11-13 FG, 5-6 3Pt), 10 rebounds and one steal in 26 minutes during Thursday's 116-101 win over the Celtics. Portis was nearly unstoppable against a team riding a five-game winning streak, leading the bench in scoring and made triples. He also secured his first double-double of the season by crashing the glass, tying Kevin Porter for a team-high 10 rebounds. Portis became one of the keys of Milwaukee's offensive attack without the services of Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) and AJ Green (shoulder) on Thursday, and he could continue to see more looks than usual until Green gains clearance to return.

Portis racked up 22 points (9-16 FG, 4-9 3Pt), four rebounds and one steal in 23 minutes off the bench during Friday's 116-101 loss to the 76ers. The 22 points led the Bucks on the night, and Portis tied his season scoring high with the performance, matching the 22 points he dropped against the Trail Blazers on Nov. 24. The veteran forward has drained multiple three-pointers in four straight games, averaging 15.0 points, 5.8 boards, 2.8 threes and 1.5 assists in 22.8 minutes a contest from the second unit during that stretch.

Portis (eye) is available to play Wednesday versus Detroit. Portis was a late addition to the injury report Wednesday, but he's been given the green light. He's averaged 11.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 21.3 minutes per contest through 22 games this season.
