After striking for 41 points Wednesday against the Bulls, Booker let Kevin Durant carry the scoring load Friday but still supplied his 12th double-double of the season -- one short of his career high -- and third in the last five games. Booker is averaging 25.2 points, 9.4 assists, 4.0 boards and 2.8 threes over that stretch while shooting 40.0 percent (14-for-35) from beyond the arc.

Sustained production from Booker and Kevin Durant is necessary to keep them there, and Booker will need more nights like Wednesday to maximize Phoenix's chances. The standout guard has regressed on occasion recently, with two 19-point games that fell well below his usual results. He's scored above 30 points only twice during the month of March.

  Booker totaled 26 points (9-21 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 5-6 FT), nine rebounds, six assists and one steal in 40 minutes during Monday's 120-118 loss to the Grizzlies. Booker finished second in scoring for the Suns and posted a loaded line in other categories. However, his efforts weren't enough and Phoenix continued its trend of alternating wins and losses since the end of the All-Star break, although overall the team continues to trend in the wrong direction. Booker has been consistent over that stretch, though. He's averaging 25.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 7.6 assists per game in 11 outings since the end of the break, with the Suns going 4-7 in that span.
