Murray closed Saturday's 122-111 overtime win over the Spurs with 13 points (6-17 FG, 1-3 3Pt), six rebounds, six assists, one block and five steals across 38 minutes. Murray went 12-for-34 from the floor combined in this back-to-back set against the Spurs, scoring 13 points in each contest. That's clearly a step in the wrong direction, as Murray had reached the 20-point mark in eight of his previous nine outings before this back-to-back set. Even after two subpar shooting performances, Murray has looked on the rise in recent weeks compared to the poor start he endured in the opening weeks of the campaign.

Murray recorded 14 points (6-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt), four rebounds and seven assists in 37 minutes during Friday's 113-110 loss to San Antonio. Murray has been playing at a high level of late, but he wasn't able to repeat those numbers in this match, mainly due to a woeful shooting performance. Despite the subpar stat line, this was just the second time Murray couldn't reach the 20-point mark over his last 10 games, a span in which he's averaging 22.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.7 steals per contest.

Murray closed Monday's 132-121 victory over Utah with 20 points (7-17 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, 10 assists, one block and two steals over 37 minutes. The fact that both Nikola Jokic and Russell Westbrook posted triple-doubles reduced Murray's impact in the game. However, the star floor general extended his impressive stretch of play with his third double-double across his last six outings. During that six-game stretch, Murray has reached the 20-point mark five times while shooting 48.1 percent from the floor and an impressive 41.7 percent from three-point range.

Murray posted 34 points (12-21 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 6-7 FT), five rebounds, four assists, three blocks and one steal over 40 minutes during Saturday's 134-121 win over the Pistons. Murray has been playing at a high level in recent weeks, but he turned more than a few heads Saturday after notching his best scoring mark of the season by a sizable margin -- his previous season-high output was 28 points, which he'd recorded on two different occasions. The star floor general has reached the 20-point mark in all but one of his last seven outings, averaging 24.7 points and 6.3 assists per game while shooting 48.1 percent from the floor and 44.2 percent from three in that span. Murray's recent numbers have been impressive enough to qualify as his most productive stretch of the entire season.

Murray (ankle) is available for Saturday's game against the Pistons. Murray will suit up and should handle his regular workload in the backcourt as one of Denver's most reliable scoring weapons. He's been playing at a high level of late, scoring 20 or more points in five of his last six appearances. Murray is averaging 23.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game over that stretch.
