Potter finished with nine points (3-7 FG, 3-6 3Pt), 16 rebounds, three assists and one block across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 122-103 loss to the Nuggets. The two-way prospect made it out of the G League due to Utah's numerous frontcourt absences, and he was a direct fill-in for John Collins (knee) in the loss. Potter generated a nice rebound total despite Nikola Jokic's imposing presence, and the former will probably stick with the NBA club for a few games while Utah tries to get healthy.

Potter is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Nuggets. Potter will make his first appearance of the season Wednesday, though it's unclear if he'll handle a big workload. He'll get the start at power forward due to the absences of John Collins (knee), Lauri Markkanen (personal) and Kyle Filipowski (lower leg).

The Jazz signed Potter to a two-way deal Saturday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports. Potter will return to Utah for a third consecutive season on a two-way pact. The 26-year-old averaged a career-high 11.6 minutes in a career-high 16 regular-season appearances last season, during which he averaged 3.3 points and 2.7 rebounds while shooting 42.9 percent from beyond the arc. Potter will likely spend most of his time with Utah's G League affiliate, the Salt Lake City Stars, as he is buried behind a fairly deep frontcourt consisting of Walker Kessler, John Collins, Drew Eubanks, Taylor Hendricks and Kyle Filipowski.

Potter finished Sunday's 127-106 loss to the Kings with eight points (3-4 FG, 2-2 3Pt), four rebounds, one block and one steal in 20 minutes. The two-way player saw double-digit minutes off the bench for the second game in a row, and he looks as though he could be a regular in the rotation for the rest of the season with the Jazz having shut down Lauri Markkanen (shoulder). Potter submitted big numbers in the G League this season and is now averaging 2.8 points, 2.3 rebounds and 0.6 three-pointers in 10.6 minutes per game through 12 appearances for Utah.

Potter was recalled from the G League's Salt Lake City Stars on Wednesday. The Jazz will be shorthanded in the frontcourt Wednesday due to John Collins (illness) being sidelined, so Potter will provide additional depth off the bench. Potter averaged 3.4 points and 2.3 rebounds in 7.4 minutes per game over seven appearances with the Jazz last year but has yet to make his season debut for the parent club this year.
