Williams (rest) won't play in Saturday's game against the Rockets. Williams will get the night off Saturday as the Trail Blazers complete a back-to-back set against Houston. Williams has appeared in six games this season, averaging 10.2 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.9 combined steals-plus-blocks. He should be expected to play Monday at Memphis.

Williams put up four points (2-4 FG), eight rebounds and two assists in Wednesday's 109-99 loss to the Thunder. Williams played in just his fifth game of the season Wednesday night and did not contribute much offensively, but he still managed to snag eight rebounds, his third in which he's gotten that many. As Williams continues to transition to game speed after missing the first nine games of the season, expect him to be more involved moving forward.

Williams (rest) will be available against the Hawks on Sunday. After sitting out the Trail Blazers' first nine games of the 2024-25 regular season due to a hamstring injury, Williams returned for the next three contests and averaged 12.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.7 blocks and 1.7 steals over 17.7 minutes per game. He was held out of this past Wednesday's game against Minnesota, but he will return Sunday following three days of additional rest. Williams could see big minutes off the bench if Deandre Ayton (finger) is unable to play.

Williams has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves due to rest. Williams has missed considerable time due to injuries over the previous two seasons, so Portland's decision to hold him out for the second leg of a back-to-back set comes as little surprise. The 27-year-old logged a season-high 25 minutes Tuesday and should be fresh for the Trail Blazers' next game Sunday versus Atlanta.

Williams produced 19 points (9-10 FG, 1-1 FT), nine rebounds, three assists, three blocks and three steals across 25 minutes during Tuesday's 122-108 win over Minnesota. Williams looked dominant on both ends of the court Tuesday and delivered one of his best outings in recent memory, taking full advantage Deandre Ayton's (finger) absence. His status for Wednesday's rematch against the Timberwolves is uncertain, however, as Williams acknowledged after the contest that he could be rested for the second half of a back-to-back set with Minnesota, according to Danny Marang of 1080 The Fan Portland. The potential absence of Williams would lead to even more minutes for Donovan Clingan, especially if Ayton remains sidelined as well.
