Bell has agreed to a contract buyout with Indiana's G League affiliate to pursue an international opportunity, Scott Agness of FieldhouseFiles.com reports. Bell wraps up his G League campaign with a 21-point, nine-rebound, seven-assist showing in Friday's win over Raptors 905. Agness notes that Bell was "often praised by teammates for his leadership" and that Indiana was pleasantly surprised to have him back with the squad as opposed to pursuing international opportunities earlier in the campaign. Bell compiled 148 steals-plus-blocks across 39 appearances, representing a turnover-forcing machine while grading in the 67th percentile league-wide with 0.952 points per possession.

The Pacers waived Bell on Saturday. Bell was waived by Indiana after signing an Exhibit 10 contract last Saturday. The 28-year-old big man will likely join the Pacers' G League affiliate, the Indiana Mad Ants unless he is signed by another team.

The Pacers signed Bell to an Exhibit 10 contract Saturday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports. Bell spent last season with the Guangzhou Loong Lions in the Chinese Basketball Association. Bell last made an NBA appearance with the Bulls in 2021, grabbing one rebound and one steal in one game. He will likely compete for a two-way roster spot with the Pacers.

Bell signed a contract with the Guangzhou Loong Lions in the Chinese Basketball Association on Thursday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports. Bell last saw the court with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in 2022, averaging 13.5 points, 10.6 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 2.4 blocks, and 2.0 steals in 31.9 minutes of action across 21 games. Having struggled to earn a meaningful NBA roster spot since his departure from Golden State in 2019, it comes with no shock to see the former NBA champion take his game overseas.
